This is a good alternative to intercoms. Because when I ride I don't want to talk to people but I want to listen to music. I'm using a BT adapter or the cable to connect to the phone or a music player.

Works flawlessly! I use a Shark Raw helmet and had no trouble putting them in. The speakers work extreamly well for what they are. Bass is just enough for me and the mids and highs are perfect (at least for me that is). As for the controls, they do work with my andriod phone as stated. I know it says they only work on android, but it surprised me when the play/pause/next track button worked on my iPod Nano. But, sadly, I had no luck in getting the volume buttons to work on my iPod Nano.Overall, very happy with the product. It is definitely something I will recommend.

I purchased the pulse plus with the microphone for a 2 week motorcycle trip. I thought the price was a little high but the ratings were good. I attempted to install them in my helmet today. When I plugged in the microphone jack the wiring pulled out of one end of the microphone housing. It did not appear to me that the wires had even been soldered in place. Without this jack to plug into your device you can't even use the speakers so it is now totally useless. I leave for my trip tomorrow so I used Amazon's link to the seller. It says 2 days for a response so it appears I will be without them for my trip. If you purchase these don't wait until the last minute as I did. You will probably have to return them.

I bought these because a fair number of reviews said that they were very loud and hi-fidelity. I think they must be putting the speakers directly over their ears (illegal in some places), because I can barely hear them when I get up to speed, and the quality of sound when I've got them turned up that high is pretty terrible. Seems like they'd be great for city riding, but they don't quite cut it for my needs.

This is a well deserved four stars. There wasn't anything about the product that was overbearingly negative. I replaced the SENA speakers in my helmet with these, and so far they are far louder and have a considerable more amount of depth to them. The "bass" that people talk about isn't really enough to notice significantly, although it is a large upgrade from the other speakers. For $50, these are far better than the speakers that come with the SENA. I'm looking forward to the coming years where they can develop small speakers like this to produce really incredible sound for us motorcycle riders. Until then I'm really satisfied with the product. It's certainly not life-changing, but they do make a world of a difference.

Way too quiet to use on a motorcycle with my phone at full volume. I can barely hear it at a stoplight, forget about when you're actually moving. And at full volume the bass is already farting out. Also much thicker than expected, they crushed my ears when I tried to put my helmet on. I'd need to chisel out some foam to get it to fit.

Fits well in my HJC RPHA 11, very close to the ears without using the extra padding, which is good for sound and volume. The sound is good for the size of speaker.

I bought these and had some issues so I originally left a pretty bad review. But, the folks at UCLEAR read that and directly contacted me asking what the problem was. I told them, and they were extremely helpful and caring to the point where they refunded me the price and sent me a new set. I originally was upset because the inline controls were not working with my iPhone. As is turns out the control do not work for the iPhone and they apologized for the lack of that information in the description and then proceeded to add that to the description to avoid further customer issues. Also, I was getting distortion in the speakers at high speeds. They said that wasn't supposed to happen and that's when they refunded the money and sent a new set. Conclusion: I was originally upset and unhappy. Now I'm happy and have a new set to try out.Don't get these if you plan on using them with an apple product.
