This book is very solid and thick pages, it has so many good questions for grandma to fill out. It is the perfect Christmas gift for your child to give out! Grandma is so happy she gets to tell her story, she says there are so many good questions it makes her think but she’s happy my son will be able to read about her life even if he doesn’t remember all the stories she tells him!

Cue the tears- these books are such a special way for loved ones to tell others about their life story. As grandparents are aging this resource provides prompts for them to write down important aspects of their lives so they can be shared later and treasured forever. These were perfect gifts in our family!

Book came in great condition and has a lot of various prompts. I love how it asks questions from early childhood through adulthood, so the reader can learn so much about whom wrote in the book.

An excellent gift for the grandparents that wants to be known. They have so many experiences and stories that none ever thinks to bring up. And as a gift it really shows that you care about them and their life story, enough to want to have it on paper. The only challenge can be if they don't write so well because their hands are old. I got the grandpa version as well so with him I usually just grab it and ask a couple questions while I take notes into the book since he can't see well or hold a pen steady. The questions do a good job of bringing back fond memories without being to graphic or depressing. They both really seem to like it and the sentiment of making it so clear that their story mattered to someone younger means the world to an 80 year old.

I love these types of products as gifts (including one I got for myself). The prompts in this book are very similar (if not exactly the same) as the others I’ve seen, which is to say they are great. :)The downside, like others have mentioned, is the line spacing. When the other reviews said it was small, I didn’t know they meant REALLY small. My writing wouldn’t naturally fit in it, so if the person you are buying this for has vision needs, this would not be the book for them. There *may* be enough lines for them to take up two line spaces instead of one to right, but it would depend on the length of their answer.

The book has some really good prompts including a family tree page. My daughter gave this to my parents for Christmas (granddad got his own book) and she is so excited to get them back from them! What a great way to pass on generational info and personal affections! The book did arrive with a few smudges on the cover but my mom sad she didn’t care, she was gonna keep it.

Can't wait to see what my Grandma writes! She was excited!
