Perfect fit and excellent price.

Item was shipped the same day I ordered it. Put it on right out of the box and it needed very little adjustment. Quality seems to be very sufficient but as usual, time will tell. Have worn it for about 12 high school games so far and it protects very well. Have taken several shots to the center of the chest and barely felt it.

I look like a Japanese warrior going to war when I put this on but its really one of the best protector. Its light and sits well so I feel comfortable and my movements are unrestricted.

I have been an umpire for 36 years and have for the past 25 years of that time umpired 14 and up with an ocassional 12 year old. I have used the West Vest for the last 11 years and feel very confident with it and rate it A+. The Champion Chest Protector is comparible in design with a lower profile. It is more comfortable than the West Vest but does not limit the feel of the impact of a baseball coming off the bat of an 18 year old. I could still feel some discomfort. I will stop short of not recommending it to anyone because it is a good protector. At my age maybe I am more sensitive than someone who is 24. I have not given up on it and will continue to use it for 12U. I will recommend it to young umpires just starting to do the plate in 9s, 10s, 11s, and even 12s. I will try using it sometimes and maybe I will adjust. I would give the Champion Protector a B- rating.

Can't complain at all this is a nice chest protector very lightweight but still can take a blow. Use for high school baseball

Fit and feel are great, very comfortable. I have taken several direct shots to the chest without even a sting. Much better than alternatives I have used and a better price than some others. Also, feel like I can move well in them.

Great for the price, I am so happy I got this and it fits me great, it seems like it would fit smaller umpires better.

2nd protector of the same - just want to have a spare. Solid - feel safe at all levels - from youth to connie mack level. Great price - highly recommend.

I recently got back into umpiring baseball working 15U and up. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money getting back into the swing of things and I found this.It’s comfy and protects me well. I’ve already been hit a few times and I didn’t feel a thing. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Light. Comfortable. Takes a hit. 13” covers my chest and ribcage, probably should have went with a 15”.
