KitchenAid Cooking Spoon, Heat Resistant, Non-Stick Coating, Pour Over Cooking Utensil - Empire Red

Bought this to replace a Le Creuset silicone spoon, which has now failed and been replaced twice in 3 years.This one seems sturdy and although it's quite a lot bigger, that isn't a problem.I already had a professional KitchenAid stand mixer and all attachments, along with a number of their pans.I'll be buying more from this range of tools, as I've found the KitchenAid brand to be reliable.

This is my second kitchenaid utensil and I love it! I also have the masher which is great they’re both bigger than I had expected but that just adds to the beauty. Definitely worth the price. They feel like they will last years.

This kitchenaid basting spoon came on a retail hanging card inside a clear plastic bag.It is a large and solid kitchen utensil and we rather like the deep red colour of the handle.This is sold as a basting spoon but in truth it is simply a large spoon, it is up to you what you use it for.The latex spoon can withstand very high temperatures and is perfect for keeping any non stick surfaces on pans in tip top condition.We have now managed to collect a couple of non stick kitchen aid frying pans and some other utensils and while I would be the first to say I am unenthusiastic about the individual prices of these items I would also be the first to say they are the best we have ever had to test or use in every regard.My partner and I are becoming fast fans of both the company and the overall quality of their products.This large spoon looks great, is well balanced without being too heavy and is clearly built to last so that it makes all others look like poor also ran products.A useable set of these utensils is going to be most of £100 by the time you have covered all the basics, but just like Denby (We love Denby!) if you make the leap, dig deep and buy it, you will have it and use it every day for a lifetime and never regret the decision to go for it! Whilst my dream of owning a KitchenAid mixer is still just that (!) I am happy to own a few smaller pieces of kitchenware from this iconic American brand. I really like that everything they do, however small, is very good quality and this basting spoon is no exception.Although it is listed as a basting spoon, you can use it for making sauces, cakes, soups, basically anything that you need a spoon to stir. It has a heavier feel than many other similar spoons but it’s not too heavy so as to be cumbersome and awkward to use. I have some other, cheaper spoons and you really can feel the difference as this is such good quality. It’s easy to wash up by hand and even easier in the dishwasher! Whilst it may seem a little expensive I think this would easily last twice as long as some of the cheaper ones so for that reason, it’s better value then it may originally seem.

This is a really nice serving or stirring spoon. It’s not only non stick but really sturdy too. For me, it’s too deep and big to be a basting spoon, but it’s super for stirring and serving. Almost deep enough to be a ladle. Nice to hold and a nice looking thing. It’s quite a bulky tool though and long, and takes up a bit of room in the drawer, better for hanging up or in a work surface pot. And the price is the elephant in the room for sure! Definitely paying for the name… that said though, it seems good quality

When ordering this item, I was wondering is it worth paying nearly 10£ for 1 utensil?In this case - definitely! The utensil is high quality, the handle is strong and weighted well, it feels balanced when held.The colour is not my favourite for kitchen utrnsils but it is that iconic KitchenAid red , it is polished and glossy. That effect gives it very high end look.The spoon itself is also very good quality. Strong and will do great for mixing pasta.Personally I use very little non stick pots and pans but these can be used with any pots in the kitchen .I know it is an expensive item however it is well worth the price as KitchenAid doesn't let down as always.I would buy again and I would recommend 👌I hope my review and photos were helpful 🙂

A really sturdy basting spoon with a thick red Kitchen Aid branded handle. It feels solid and robust and easyt o clean. I haven't used it for basting as I'm a vegan but it is great to use in my non stick wok and also to use a big serving spoon for dishing out vegeatbles, pies, lasagna's etc. It feels like it will last for many, many years and looks attractive with its thick red handle. The spoon is quite rigid and thick not thin and floppy like some other silicone and nylon utensils I own and it feels like it won't snap in two or melt at the merest hint of heat.

A great quality utensil that looka good and easy to cook with and easy to clean with too, it is sturdy and has a great handle too.

Ich habe den Kochlöffel von KitchenAid in Empire Rot gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Der Löffel ist hitzeresistent und hat eine Antihaftbeschichtung, was ihn zu einem perfekten Utensil zum Übergießen von Saucen und Suppen macht.Ich schätze auch die Länge des Löffels, da er lang genug ist, um in einen Topf oder eine Pfanne zu reichen, ohne dass man sich die Finger verbrennt. Die Form des Löffels ist ergonomisch und liegt gut in der Hand.Außerdem ist er sanft zu beschichteten Töpfen.Die Antihaftbeschichtung funktioniert einwandfrei und erleichtert das Kochen und Reinigen. Der Löffel lässt sich leicht abwaschen und hat nach mehreren Benutzungen immer noch keine Kratzer oder Abnutzungen.Alles in allem kann ich den KitchenAid Kochlöffel jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen und langlebigen Utensil zum Übergießen von Saucen und Suppen ist.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf und werde definitiv weitere KitchenAid-Kochutensilien in Betracht ziehen.
