JONARD TOOLSSSK-80 Star Key for LG and LB

May or may not work in your area.
Whether or not these will work in your area is a crap shoot. some areas have keys that vary ever so slightly that this won't fit quite right. for instance they didn't work for the 5 star pattern here in NY but the 8 star pattern worked perfect in OH and KY. so even though they look the same they could be just different enough to not work. At lease you get a can wrench out of it at the least lol.

Choose the right type of star key
make sure you check what type of star key you need. was able to use this set in Chicago IL for Comcast, but in Texas (Houston for Comcast) and Austin (Spectrum)this set is uselesss. was able to open couple of pedestals with 8 star key in this set but it's a pain in the .... so if you're working in areas where this set doesnt work like Texas you need a LQ type star key. Hope this will help you. the positive side of this set is that you can use it to tighten mid span on aerial, just use it as a wrench, but i believe if you buy another type it will also work for this kind of work.

As usual, good Jonard tool, just not as good as Klein
Jonard tools are usually fine, but not close to level of quality compared to the lineman standard--Klein Tools. The plug in patterns fit but have a lot of give. I had to put electrical tape on my end with the Comcast key pattern. I left the other side empty so I could use the 7/16" can wrench.

Very soft key. Fails quickly.
The tool appears to be quality, but the "key" material appears to be a very soft aluminum. If you have a cabinet that uses this lock, and the lock is not very loose, the key will not be able to open it. Instead of using this type of lock, drill out the lock and use a hasp and padlock.

Works fine until they break apart.
Bought this for the multiple star attachments as I work in multiple markets and didn't want to buy multiple $25-$50star tools. Worked fine for a month or 2 but then the star tool tip separated from the interchangeable piece and is no longer usable. I've tried using the tips with pliers but they are too smooth to be able to apply enough pressure to turn the locks

Awesome worked perfect comcast
I was able to open several comcast boxes on my commercial building. Easy and fast. I wanted one of these for a long time.Comcast wanted 119 dollars to come out! I save the money and did it my self!

Doesn't work in NYS
It's definitely sturdy and well built but just like User "Faster Tomorrow" said, it does not work in NY. I was hoping he was referring to NYC so i purchased it anyway. I'm between Rochester/Buffalo NY area and it doesn't work. It's off by a little bit.
