Bought this years ago at Ulta, not thinking much... but quickly became obsessed with it. I ended up watering it down because I was afraid I would use it up too much-- fast forward I could NOT remember the name of the brand, the scent just that I got it from Ulta. Spent years searching for it and finally realized -- 1. they don't sell it at Ulta anymore and 2. they changed the bottle design. I'm skeptical to say that it helps me fall asleep, more than anything, spraying it on my pillow just unlocks a memory of when I was in my prime productivity era when I lived in the city-- so spraying it and laying my face into it at night just fills me with that good nostalgia. Low key wanna try making my own blend with Valerian Root and Lavender, but I doubt it'll smell als good as this stuff!

This is my second bottle (first was purchased locally years ago)—very pleased to find it still available.It did leak a bit during shipping inside the plastic bag. Bag was only taped shut, so it held the liquid but not the odor. I was concerned as I opened the box, but the amount lost was minimal.Looking forward to using this pleasant spray again.

This product is better than I expected!! It really does calm and comfort you, I use it at night on/around my pillows, and sometimes even my clothes! It smells that good!Probably the best feature of it all is that it really is not a HEAVY or OVERLY STRONG smell, very light and relaxing if you will! I recommend this product for anyone who needs balance themself and take in a deep breathe of fresh lavender aroma to soothe the nervous system! There are NUMEROUS health benefits by RELAXING the mind before going to sleep instead of rushing and becoming restless through the night! Treat your bed as your personal paradise! This is a good step in the right direction! The one thing I hate about all hotels is they have those starchy smelling pillows, sheets and blankets. I spray this on my pillows and sheet area when I am at hotels. It stays the whole time I'm there and it's just the best stuff for sleeping too. I had just gotten it for my hotel stays because I travel 137 days last year for work but I started using it home too because it's just that nice to be able to put your head on a pillow that smells so nice.My caveat is to anybody's that is sensitive to citrus smells, this would not be for you. Everyone else, get it!The one thing I wish whomever sent this out, I wish they would tighten the lids on them. Every time I've gotten one, the lid has been a little loose, so you lose a little bit of product because they're not sealing the lid very well :-(

This was packaged well for shipping, but upon opening I noticed a new product package. I put it away in a drawer and oddly enough, the bottle got tilted slightly in the drawer and leaked out all over the wood. Since the cap was secure, it had to have leaked via the bottle neck. So my score on the new spray...might not be a win. I had the prior bottle with the matching cap and the other type spray top for years, never mattered what position it was stored in. The cap was faulty and never stayed on from day one, but I wasn't too concerned because the bottle never leaked. When you pay this much for a small quantity of something, you really hate to lose any. Also, the bottle I had before I had for years...it never lost it's scent and was long lasting during use. This one smells the same, but loses it's scent fast. As soon as it dries (very fast) the scent becomes really faint and almost non existent. I use it for getting back to sleep, which with the previous bottle took maybe 5 minutes or so. This one isn't really effective and since it dissipates so quickly, overall it's a miss for me.

I have tried the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lavender Chamomile Sleep Pillow Mist 5.3 oz alongside this product, and for me this product works better.It does say Valerian and Lavender on the bottle, but as other reviewers have noted, the main scent you smell is the citrus. I find the citrus scent more soothing and relaxing than the Bath & Body Works pillow mist that I purchased. Other reviewers also noted that the scent doesn't last long, but for me it seems to last long enough. I believe the scent lasts between 30 minute to an hour, which has always been plenty of time for me to fall asleep.I have used this every night for a week now, and find that after I spray it, it is easier for me to focus on the citrus scent and relax without my mind racing. And I have been able to stop taking my sleeping pills. I wish Amazon sold this directly, or better yet offered it as a subscribe and save item.
