The Autumn Alley Farmhouse Bathroom Toilet Paper Holder has nothing to recommend it for its intended purpose. This toilet paper holder is made out of particle board so cheap and light weight it reminds me of cotton candy. The particle board obviously has lots of air in it accounting for why it is so totally lite. This brings us to why you should honestly avoid this toilet paper holder at all costs.The bathroom is usually a steamy environment when one showers or bathes. Steam is just tiny water droplets trying to find the absorbent home offered by this toilet paper holders air filled particle board. So as the steam condenses it wets the dry thirsty particle board which promptly absorbs the moisture in the air and on its surface. Water causes the cheap particle board to warp, crumble, flex and otherwise deteriorate. The cheap laminate wood which is tape thin fails. The connection to the wall or vanity fails because the holder is falling apart. With use this cheap toilet paper holder will turn into an eye sore in no time. Not long after that it will fall apart.This item is meant to be used in the bathroom but not engineered with the hot steamy bathroom environment in mind. This item is designed to look pretty and be picked up as an impulse buy that won't last. I have sponges in my kitchen that weigh more than these things. I mean buy it if you want to but don't say you weren't warned when it breaks or gets nasty.

This is perfect for my bathroom! Totally worth every penny.I just got it and put it up today, so I’ll be back to update my review after some time has passed.I needed something rustic looking that I could mount on the wall with heavy duty command strips due to there being no studs in the wall and the last tp holder literally falling off the wall over time even with anchors.This wood is legit and lightweight. I read some reviews claiming it is cheap wood and falls apart. It doesn’t seem that way to me. It’s just lightweight wood. Now, don’t be like my mother and use it as a support when you stand up from the toilet. It’s made to hold toilet paper, not your overweight form.Happy trails everyone.
