The kit came with basic repair instructions and using it I was able to repair some zip off hiking pants. I am definitely not a tailor and have minimal seamstress skills and was able to make the repair easily. The kit has a good variety of sizes that you would commonly find in zippers and I think it will be a good addition to a household’s repair kit. I very much recommend and the price was good.

Had a stuck zipper on our son's backpack and this kit worked great. The magic is in that tool they provide - makes removing the stuck zipper or teeth a breeze. I'm sure we will get good use out of all of these!

I was able to successfully repair two of my jacket zippers. The repair kit was a little overwhelming at first. I needed to really read the directions and conceptualize the procedure. To practice, I repaired the zipper on an older jacket that I no longer wear. After successfully replacing the zipper, I decided to repair my main jacket. I wasn’t able to get the zipper to operate smoothly. It’s a tiny bit difficult to get the zipper to zip up, only a tiny bit, but I’m still very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to use, follow the instructions. Saved a ton of money not buying another replacement check-in 50 pound suitcase.But you'll need to do a tiny bit of sewing, perhaps. Read the directions carefully. Multiple zippers for many different applications.
