I have just started using it so I don’t know if I have gotten its full potential out of it but it does a great job with the temperature reading!

Works Well- Likely Not Needed If You Use a Grow Light.The issue with a grow tent with lights- the germination medium is too hot for cool season crops- like lettuce.A germination pad is not needed in this application.

This actually came free with my order. Super easy to use! Works as it should. I can definitely tell a difference using it. My babies are thriving! They popped out the soil a lot quicker too. This mat is a win win for me! I used it on 5 gallon fabric pots first. Using now on solo cups but I'm sure the results will be the same.

I like that this heat mat kit with temp control is cheap. But then when you get it you remember that its cheap. I feel like if I were to feel motivated enough I could take a bite out of the plastic the housing on the temp control box is made from. I was trying to use it in a room that was around 64°F and it was failing at having the raw power to get the moist soil in tiny plastic cups to the set tempature of 80°F. Then I had the dumb idea to just place a box over the cups like a fancy room service lid. Several minutes later it reached 80.3°F. This made me feel like a super genius. When I recieved this item it came in just a plain white box that looked like I ordered a large adult toy. After opening the well taped small footlong bricked shaped box I was relieved to just see it was a rolled up yoga mat for a midget. There were not even any cool stickers. It's just mars hydro logo silkscreened on run of the mill cheap made in china stuff.

Quality construction, works as described, perfect for seed germination or cutting propagation.

I am a fairly experienced grower and with the cold months we’ve been having recently I decided to give this heat may try. As goes with anything purchased from Mars Hydro, shipping was quick and package arrived safely a few days later. Box came neatly packaged and setup is VERY easy. I’ve had our current seedlings on the mat for the past few days and the heat distribution seems very even. In fact we just had two of babies pop this morning!!! So far I’m very impressed and for $40 you can’t go wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️

This mat doesn't work. It barely gets lukewarm. I've done everything it said in the paperwork. There's no way of calibrating it. thermostats easy enough to work with i guess? But over the past few hours i've been checking the temp and i have it up to 80 degrees now its a lil more than lukewarm. i cant leave this on and leave the room thinking it may surge and catch on fire. just checked . it wont go above 75 degrees but the mats only like 55 or 65? Bummer.

They work great! I purchased 2 for keeping my very expensive lithium batteries for my solar system warm. The batteries should never go below freezing. I built a insulated box and place the mats under the batteries and set the temperature to 10 degrees C. They draw very little current for what they produce. I used two for redundancy if one fails. I cannot express enough how well they work and use very little power. The controllers show a temp difference of about .4 degrees so they are not perfectly accurate but for the price they are awesome. user friendly to set up. Build quality looks good. Highly recommended.

Buts not so great for hot peppers and certain flowers. Even when I use a humidity topper. I wish I could adjust the temperature to make it a little bit hotter.
