Reminds me of the good ol days as a soldier!!!!
This is Military Surplus, Fur lined cover, front velcro pocket, alice clips. Mine came to me in very good condition. Slight use, but very serviceable. Canteen is perfect as the original GI canteen.

They both looked brand new!
I was surprised to see that they both looked brand new! There was room for my canteen, canteen cup, lid, scrubbie pad and a small spoon inside the canteen cover. I'm tempted to buy everyone I know one of these for Christmas. They are that high quality. I look forward to using mine during hog season in the state forest here in Florida. Everyone who reads this should buy this set!

Cheaper than surplus stores
The canteen cover I received was in good condition, and the new canteen plus cover here was cheaper than my local surplus store charges for used gear. There's also a pouch for some water purification tablets if you need to refill from questionable water sources. Add those tablets, a canteen cup, and utensils and you have a decent backpacking mess kit.
