Overview:I was curious to see how exactly the replacement of the color strips would work... The tag I got came with a pink strip, and that is not my cat's style right now (maybe later, with a different collar ;) ) - so I decided to test out the replacement right away. I stopped myself, however, and decided I should first register the ID number - otherwise it will hard to read it off my cat's neck, who is always on the move!Registration:So I followed the provided instructions: 1- Went to the provided website. 2- In the top right corner, clicked the 3 horizontal bars and to Owner/Registration. 3- Scrolled down to "I am a Pet Owner", entered the ID number found on my tag and clicked NEXT. 4- Scrolled a bit down and entered my phone number (clicked OK at the prompt that says my number will be shared if my pet is found). 5- Clicked SUBMIT, scrolled down to the section that asks for a VERIFICATION CODE. Entered the Verification code that was texted to the number I previously entered. 6- Scrolled down to enter my EMAIL address. Chose not to enter a secondary phone number (I can add it later). 7- Clicked OK. 8-Checked what it will look like if someone enters the ID from my tag and sees my phone number (also very fast!). DONE!!! That was one of the fastest registrations I had to do... Easy and REALLY straightforward, I was happy with that. Pro tip: If you think nothing is coming up on the page, try scrolling down - the new section sometimes is just a little lower.Strip replacement:My cat has a black leather collar with studs, so I thought the navy replacement strip would go well with that 'cat fatale' look. (I will go into some level detail with the replacement process, so if you're not interested in that - feel free to skip to the end or just flip through the attached pics!).The set comes with 2 tools - and they, as it turns out, are really all you need: a super mini 'screwdriver' (the smallest I've ever seen!) and a thin metal plate. Note that you need to remove the rubber cover on the screwdriver before using it... probably obvious, but just in case.1. Using the screwdriver, you unscrew the metal cover over the strip and CAREFULLY take the metal cover off the strip (the one with "FIND" on one side and the ID number on the other).2. Then you use the Plate tool to separate the rings and slide the strip off the ring.3. Using the Plate tool again, you separate the rings and slide the new (replacement) strip ONTO the ring.4. Take the Metal cover you took off at first and put it back onto the NEW strip you just added.5. Take the Plate and use it to Hold the small NUT in place while, on the other side of the cover, you screw in the small screw. (Here just make sure the hole in the strip is aligned with the whole in the metal cover). Make sure to do this carefully, but tighten it securely.. so the nut/the screw doesn't fall off!The sliding the strip onto the ring was surprisingly the toughest part for me - the end of the ring was catching on the strip, but after a few attempts and thanks to the provided tools (ended up using both here - plate to separate the rings and the screwdriver to push the strip onto the ring!), it was done!! The next replacement will definitely be easier.Verdict/Tips:-Registration of the ID number was very fast and straightforward (just note you might want to do this before you put the tag on your pet!!).-The quality of the set AND the tools (!) was fantastic (for this price I was definitely not expecting it to be this good..).-Glue pro Tip: Since the items are held in the set using a small amount of glue, you may see some remnants of the glue on the metal cover of the tag/the metal plate tool - if that annoys you, you can actually use a small amount of eucalyptus oil (on a q-tip or a cotton round) to rub the glue off; it will first seem like nothing is happening, but then all the remaining glue will come off. just keep gently rubbing the glue remains until it's not there anymore.-Will definitely be getting one for my other cat!!

I have 3 kitties and these three are both outdoor and indoor types. I’ve been meaning to get them id tags because I want to lessen the panic attacks I experience when someone doesn’t come home for breakfast or dinner. However, 3 separate ID tags engraved are maybe $9 or $10 and that’s not bad if you’ve got 1 or 2 cats, but 3? Hey, I’m not really that willing to spend $30 bucks on something they’re going to actively try and get rid of! I’ve done it before and was miffed when two of them “lost” their collars and tags.When these arrived, first, the price was great. If they lose these, it won’t be so costly to replace.Second, I like the way they look. Visually simple and not jangly and loud.Third, I’m loving the discreetness and that my phone number isn’t carved into a piece of metal.Thank you! Brilliant idea!

We have a dog that runs out a door so quick you can't stop him not matter how careful you try to be. He had lost his tags off of his collar and we had not found them before he got out again. Without tags we were afraid he would be lost forever but we got him back due to a Facebook ad we ran in the town site. We decided that this pet tag would be the best to get for him. This way someone has to go to the website to get info and will get the needed info to contact us. This site allows for changes to the info in case of moving or phone # changes. We also got the reflective one. We are going to order tags for our other 9 dogs next month. We will feel better knowing that they will have good tags to get them home safe if the get out of the fenced yard.

We bought this tag for our cat who likes to walk outside on her own and, of course, there is always a concern that she can get lost. We were looking for a simple and reliable way for providing our information if the cat is lost and found by somebody else. Conventional methods rely on writing owner’s information on the tag which can be easily washed out and are not very reliable. We found Navitagi to be a perfect solution for the job. Navitagi uses an ID sealed into metal alloy based on technology used in the military. Pet owner’s information can be easily looked up on the internet from a smartphone using the provided ID. I think it is a nice use of technology since nowadays almost everyone has a smartphone or access to the internet.Other thoughts:*The quality of the tag is very good. It is made of good quality materials and securely attaches to our cat’s collar.*The tag looks beautiful on our cat.*The tag comes with seven strips of different colors that can be easily replaced to match pet’s collar or personality.*The website for providing and accessing pet owner’s information is easy to use.My only suggestions for further improvement is to add darker color strips and simplify the mechanism for replacing the strips.

This is an excellent product! It is made of high quality material and has a really simple yet effective system for allowing strangers to easily call you if your pet runs away, which is an extra functionality that the competitors at this price level do not have. The online registration system for this process is quick and easy to use and worth the extra peace of mind of knowing that if your pet breaks out a stranger could easily contact you.It is really great that it also comes with customizable colors that double as replacement tags if necessary, but you would have to be bringing your pet on some serious outdoor adventures for the tag to endure enough wear and tear to require even a single replacement (but this product has you covered even if that is the case)!It’s clear that a lot of thought was put into making everything about this product simple and intuitive, but with a unique advantage and quality improvement over other pet tags at this price point.Thanks NaviTagi!
