Could not find a replacement for my nutone 669l. So I took all the measurements and this was the closest match. Bolts right in without any modifications and works great. The fan is probably about the same sound wise as the original fan. You could also re-use the old plastic fan blades if you prefer them. But I compared the two noise wise and they were about the same other then the old one rattling because of failed bearings.

I needed something cheap to replace the old broan in my bathroom without dealing with my landlord, as broan is upwards of 80$, this was compatible with the broken POS that was in the ceiling, just needed the frame screw in adapter off the old one to fit the metal frame the motor goes on, sounds real nice too

I liked that the dimensions were included in the description. It was a perfect fit for my bathroom exhaust fan. We’ll see how long it lasts. The original motor lasted 11 years. But I do disassemble them every year to clean em.

Size, mounting screw pattern, electrical plug and fan blade all exact replacement for original. No drilling, bending or filing required to replace.When I opened the existing fan motor compartment, what I found was the original motor bearings had worn, allowing the motor shaft to move up and down and causing the plastic fan blade to rub against the top of the fan housing. This was causing extra noise that wasn't there when the fan was new.In this sense, replacing the motor did reduce the sound level of the fan. However, this is an exact replacement, so the motor and plastic blade combination are no quieter than the original fan when it was new.

Woke up one morning to what sounded like an owl screaming at me through the bathroom vent. Turns out it was just the motor going bad on the old fan. Easy and straightforward swap. Works great!

Bought it to replace a dying bathroom fan. Cheaper than replacing the entire unit. The bad news is that it’s WAAAY noisier than old fan. At some point, I’ll replace the entire fan with something quieter.

Exact drop in vent fan replacement for our Broan 655 combination bathroom fan/heater. Good YouTube videos exist to demonstrate replacement. It's very easy to do.The separate heater module with its squirrel-cage fan was the part that actually failed after 30+ years and is also a self-contained unit. That's coming from a different Amazon vendor and should arrive shortly. For an extra $20, I decided to just replace both while I had it opened up.This Broan bathroom vent/fan/heater model is a permanent, attic installed from above unit. However, they made replacement of the components easy. I just hope they keep making the parts after all these years. Pretty pleased with all the Broan products I've had including kitchen vents and this is no exception.

Motor came in a damaged box, looks like it was kicked around like a football. After switching the nuts and bolts around, installation was easy. However the overall volume of the fan running is enough to cause hearing damage for more than a few minutes. I wouldn't waste your time or money on this one. If I could return this, I totally would.
