Bought these to change the laces on a new pair of trainers. Used them before and find the better and neater than traditional laces. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the lack of a tool to help you fit them, which is mentioned in the instructions. Doesn’t need to be fancy just functional

I bought these for myself and before I knew it, I was having to replace them because they were snaffled by my teenager. They're a little difficult to poke through if the eyelets for your laces are really small, but it's possible. They look fantastic on my daughters white trainers, and on my black ones. so much easier to slip on and off, and no more soggy laces in the manky winter weather.

Used the small one first and worked up, am a size 5 and trainer don’t slip when wearing.

The idea is good but... It was nearly impossible to put into my trainers, had to use hair pin and pliers! And then I realised I messed up and well, I just had to leave it as it is as it was impossible to take out and I didn’t want to waste the laces by cutting them out as the bigger ones were too big. In terms of comfort, you can fill the beginning of each lace which can be uncomfortable, it feels like something is stuck there but at least it looks good and no need to tie laces again

Love these laces, i only have a thunb on 1 hand because of an opperation on my hand and i cant tie laces and these are a fab way of waering my boots without waiting on a friend to pop in and tie them for me, i have more independence with these laces

I get pains in my feet running if I don’t lace up a certain way and be really careful with lace tension - these silicone laces avoid these issues and work really well giving a consistent and elastic tension. Tricky to fit, I found a loop of string thin string (crabbing cord!) and a drop of washing up liquid, water mix made it much easier to pull them through and the string came off the lace end on it’s own once through the eye. All in all, great product and works well!

Maybe I’m super lazy, but these things are more comfortable, simple, and infinitely more accessible than standard laces. How are shoes not just coming with these installed?Picture is my favourite pair of Converse with a set of these laces, I’m a size 13. I can easily slip my shoes on and off all day, they fit perfectly, and I still get the stylish look of a strait laced Converse.Only downside is certain shoes can be really hard to install these on. Converse was super easy, but my wife’s sneakers had tiny pinholes for eyelets and we had to use a sewing needle to force the rubber lace through.

My grandson wanted some shoes that you had to tie - but due to disabilities he is unable to do that. We tried the curly laces first because that is what was available at the store, but he had a hard time getting his shoes on himself because the curly laces were too tight. My daughter put these in his shoes - she said the first couple were hard to get in but once she got the hang of it, it was easy. She discovered that one of his feet is bigger than the other and had to use different sizes of the laces on each shoe. It was great that there were so many different sizes to choose from so she could adjust to make each shoe fit comfortably. My grandson loves them and can put his shoes on by himself - and the shoes stay on his feet.
