A must have for Star Realms players
The saddest thing in star realms is beginning the game with a boring deck that does nothing. Command decks give a kick out of that sense of uselessly and also diversify strategy for players based on gambits and starting factions. Only bad point: Stellar Allies is a KS exclusive needed to add the last 2 double faction cards, so Newburg and Lee actually comes with no specific support :(

Star Realms is an amazing game!
I love this game! I already owned these expansions so I bought these as Christmas gifts. Commanders add a new dimension to the game and the United sets add multi-faction cards that work well with Commanders. You must have one of the 3 core sets to play these. I recommend Frontiers, but the base set and Colony Wars are great, too.

Detracts a bit from the base game.
It's a REALLY cool concept but the command decks lock you into a certain faction right away and it detracts from the strategy that I've come to love about star realms. After my gf and I tried it a couple of times we just haven't used it again. We play almost daily.
