Great product
So this rack fit my 2002 electric glide perfect for the people that say that is loose is because they’re old connections on their bike. The metal post that you clip it to are supposed to have this black rubber silicone around them that has either disappeared or is no longer there or has been completely wore out. Mine has never had an attachment on it before so when I went to go put it on there, it is a snug fit, and it fits very well and it clips in very well. I did use red Loctite on the 2 ounce screws on the side of the quick disconnect clamps when it comes you will see that those two screws are loose on the sides of those two clamps. Make sure you put some red lock tight on there and screw them in if you don’t it will fall apart, but that is on your fault. Not the company that built it so my only opinions are it is a great product. Just do your due diligence when you’re putting the thing together.

Good Quality. Locking hardware could be better.
Works as planned. I did use the locking hardware off the Harley brand sissy bar. They are much better quality and were a better fit. I installed a 2019 Tour Pack on an 2006 Street Glide with a Custom Dynamics wire harness adapter and all lights and signals work. I do check it from time to time to make sure it don't losen up and so far so good. Chrome is decent quality but wish I would have done black powder coat. I am removing grab bar underneath to lessen the amount of all the bars and hardware.

Absolutely Horrible
I ordered this mount for a new tail bag I purchased. This is the first negative review I've ever given for a product I've purchased off of Amazon.Ok, so here is what was wrong with this product.1. The spring retention pins are NOT made of steel. They are made of a low grade, brittle, die cast metal. In fact, one of the spring retention pins broke on the very first time I attached the rack to my bike.Since this is going to mount to a tour pack that my wife is going to be leaning against, I was not happy with using just one spring pin.So....I endeavored to fix it.I removed the whole locking mechanism from the detachable sissy bar I was replacing, and it was then that I discovered problem number 2.2. The locking mechanism on the new product had been installed on the wrong sides. There is a left and right to those mechanisms, and the new product had them reversed. This means that the locking mechanism would have had to be rotated the wrong direction to install. This would have placed Stress on the cheap, die cast pins, instead of the billet aluminum portion of the locking mechanism. So, I removed the locking mechanisms off of both my old sissy bar mount, and the newly purchased mount. That's when I discovered problem number 3.3. The bolts that hold the mechanism to the mounts are fluted, which means they are supposed to be pressed into the holes. Thats why there is no screw slot or hex head on the head of those pins. They are not supposed to be removed. On the newly purchased product, they were simply inserted into the hole and held in place by the nuts.In short, this is a product that broke the very first time it was used, because it was built with cheap materials, and assembled incorrectly. And since tail bags and tour packs also serve as passenger backrests, it presents a potential safety issue.I wouldn't recommend this product to someone I disliked, and would be very careful purchasing any other products from this seller.

Good bracket, crap harware.
Update: the epoxy on the pressnuts did not hold up to the vibrations. I was worried that prolonged usage like that would cause the holes to become elongated. I ended up tack welding the nuts in place and no more issues.I bought this bracket to get rid of the aft most mounting points to clean up the fender area. I read reviews about the low quality latches and loose riv-nuts, but decided to give it a try any way.I wasn't worried about the latches since I was going to replace them with higher quality locking ones, but I will say the ones that came on it were complete garbage. Just something to keep in mind if you aren't planning on switching them out. What I assumed were going to be riv-nuts were actually press-nuts. They were loose to the point I could push them out by hand. I used epoxy to secure them and to prevent the hole from elongation over time. With the bad hardware out of the way, this is a nice bracket. It fits snug on the forward mounting points. It's made out of sturdy enough metal and the assembly hardware is good. It has multiple holes to move the tour pack forward or back depending on your situation. You will need the original horse shoe bracket to complete the install, I ended up painting mine black to match the finish of this bracket.I would recommend this bracket if you are willing to take care of the latches and press-nuts first.

May not be worth the money?
Initially I was pleased with the tour pack bracket. After about 7 months of use though I noticed the locking clips had worked loose and were worn or broken. The press-fit pins that hold the locking clips in place on the main bracket arm had worn their mounting hole and were loose as well. I sent the company that sold the bracket, Ecotric , an email asking about a replacement and have not heard anything back from them after 2 weeks. Can't recommend buying this bracket.

Very solid but the quick release hardware could be better
Very well made but I did replace the quick release hardware with other quick release hardware I had off of one of my Harley backrests I no longer use. I read previous reviews with others say they did the same thing. The Harley hardware just seemed a lot more solid and mounted very very tight. I put this on my 2003 roadking classic with leather tour pack
