The Road to Nowhere
Very detailed on the negotiations between Barak and Arafat at Camp David. The difficulties in sealing that peace plan are still relevant today.

Received item on time and in good condition. A lot of material is covered in the book. The first part of the book gives the impression that the author tries to "settle the accounts" of mishaps that happended under his leadership.I enjoyed the professional descriptions of the events that happened under Danny Yatoms leadership, eventhough one can feel the hand of censorship while reading the book, as no details of operations, means, locations or operatives are mentioned. (For example that they used poison in the jordanian operation...)The book is well written and seems to be well translated from hebrew to english. It is quite thick and therefore a bit uncomfortable to read, but it is written in a exciting way so you dont want to put it out of your hand so quick ;).A certain leftist political view cannot be denied, especially when it comes to his descriptions of politicians. But in the special descriptive way of writing the author uses, it does not come trough as an attempt to undermine the person, but as a certain irony that is understandable if you follow the authors point of view."Labyrinth of Power" is certainly a book that gives you an impression of what is going on in the daily live of politicians and securtiy officials in Israel and their hardship in taking very though decisions for the security of the people in Israel.I took off one star because I am disappointed that even information that was publicised in the media and is well-known was censored out.
