Domon SDY-019 Mini Portable HiFi Bluetooth Stereo Audio Speaker with FM Radio + Alarm Clock,Black

I wanted to like this speaker, but I ended up selling it to my boss. The reason being that, because this is a Bluetooth speaker, each time your phone rings, or a text comes in, the break in music and the announcement of said call/message is so dang loud that I literally jumped out of my chair in my office. My music was at a nice, soft listening level and a call came in and instead of announcing the caller, it literally spelled out each number from the caller and was at a level above and beyond that which I was listening to music. Even if I silenced my phone, it did not prevent the announcement of a call that was so loud, I was terrified to use this speaker. Perhaps used at home, it may work but I already had a home speaker. In an office setting, it didn't work. Also, the signal strength is not as strong as others. I will stick to my Boom.

The overall sound quality is very good and the appearance of the device is unobtrusive .. small and plain. I had to downgrade to 4 stars as the 2 features that I was most interested in (and are not very common on Bluetooth speakers of this type) are not very good. The FM tuner is hit or miss on some stations and even on the same station from time to time (vs. other tuners in close proximity.) The clock is simultaneously extremely bright (to the point of disturbing sleep) while being too small to read (when the light wakes you and you wonder what time it is.) At the 'Deal' price I cannot complain too much, but if the tuner and clock function are a big part of your consideration then keep looking.

Great sound for the price, good battery life, but the controls are a bit clumsy. A shared pair of +/- buttons control both the FM tuner and the volume, so you have to press and hold to change volume. The power switch is a tiny slide switch on the back, so you pretty much have to pick up the speaker to switch it on or off.

This portable speaker has alot of power. It sounds good, charges fast and is mobile. I use it around my pool area and it is perfect!
