Great set of lights. I see most people give this a bad review because they don't know how to work the light. If you use AAA batteries you need to remove the 1 inch alluminum spacer. This spacer is used for the the other battery application.

Not a bad product and not a great one. The aren't as bright as some bike lights and I wish they were for my purposes. I have been flamed for wanting bright lights in another review but hey, I use them for night kayaking and for a 360* BWL (bright white light) as required in the California regulations and also in the USCG regulations for kayaking at night.I noticed several people complaining about the added extra spacer located on the body of the light or the light not working for them. This spacer is to adapt the light to accept an 18650 battery. This makes a big improvement over the 3 AAA batteries used in the plastic insert for length of use and for brightness. To use AAA batteries remove the insert and place batteries in the adapter and load it into the flightlight body.

Was very excited to receive these as I wanted to surprise my husband and my daughter with lights for their new bikes, but held on to it till the bikes arrived. Since the storm was coming in and we needed flashlights on hand, I brought these out to have as back-up.When I assembled the AAA batteries however, following instructions as per (+) and (-), they would not come on. Once or twice it flashed but no matter how I manipulated these, they were non-functional. I was going to return them, even packaged and printed out return slip and all.Then I came back to the page and read the instructions. It said if using 3 AAA batteries, you don't need the middle part. Duh! I came back down, opened up the package, places the 3 AAAs again and took out the middle part. Bingo. It works.Reading is key!!!🙈The flashing tail light included also work perfectly.

Great lights!Rambling on features:-Front "white lights": The zoom/concentrate feature is nice for varying the light depending on road conditions. The lights appear durable and somewhat watertight, although I didn't test them in water. I suspect they do fine in rain while biking. I don't like the flashing feature, but that seems standard nowadays. Note: to use them, remove the middle segment; this segment makes it so that the light doesn't accidentally turn on.-Rear "red lights": no complaints. Easy to attach, has worked well since I purchased around 2 months ago, using daily for my commute.

Good Product. I liked the quality of the headlight. Looks sturdy. Came in a neat case. Top marks for packagingThe quality of the tail lights is wanting. It looks flimsy and feels that it can break / tear at any time. Also, I received mine in a slightly damaged condition.The tail light was slightly broken on the plastics and one of the headlights had a ripped strong handle to it.Keeping those aside, I certainly recommend this product for this cost, I doubt you would get it in a retail store.

No instructions with package.Both 18650 battery and 3AAA battery are OK. Please note that if you use 18650 battery, you need to add the middle part; if it is with 3AAA battery, do not add the middle part. This was in the questions asked. I will see how to replace them?????

I go down some steep paths in the dark and these lights aren't bright enough to give me a reaction time to something in the path. They would be fine if biking slower.

More than worth it you can't beat the price they're amazing!
