Vida Alegría REACH Solid Brass 18-Inch Shower Head Extension Arm (Oil Rubbed Bronze)

The extension looks and feels sturdy and of high quality. The first thing I noticed and didn’t like was that you have to rotate the entire arm until it is tight on the shower head pipe AND that the end of the extension is pointed more or less in a downward position (so the shower head attaches and is pointed down). Because of this design, you may not be able to tighten the extension arm as much as you need to ensure a leak proof fit. I overcame the lose fit and leaks by using more Teflon tape (included). The next issue was a small leak in the joint of the extension arm. I completely dismantled the joint and made sure everything was reassembled tightly but while tightening the assembly I cross threaded the nut/bolt. The metal seems very soft so watch out but in my case the leaky joint was addressed and everything works and looks (teflon tape excluded) fine.

I have contacted the manufacturer directly so I will update my review if I get a response. Either a washer is missing, there is a design flaw, or my arm is defective but the seam where the teeth comes together is not water tight so a fine but powerful jet of water sprays out wetting my ceiling.SK Lang Products responded immediately and rushed a new arm to me. The new one works perfectly. I will definitely buy from them again because I know if there is a problem they will make it right.

Good quality, but a 12” rain shower head is almost too much weight for this arm. I had to return the first one because the weight of the 12” metal head stripped the adjustment fitting. I tightened the second one into place using pliers before mounting the arm and the shower head.

This is a quality product, neat in design that has done wonders to spruce up and upgrade my shower. I had to contact the seller about some technical questions that I had. My questions and my problems were resolved quickly and to my full satisfaction. Great service, a good product - can't ask for more than that.

Awesome. works great. finish is pretty. construction is heavy and all connections feel very durable.Included a little bit of teflon tape for use which is a good touch.one downside is that it was missing a washer on the intake side, i had to use the old one.

Added this extension arm onto our exiting shower to move out away from the back wall and then put a larger shower head on that can rain down from above. Love it! Simple and quick change that looks good, too.

Really well made extender for someone looking to combine with a RAIN style shower head. Easy to adjust during a shower. The brass look really looks nice matching my 8 inch RAIN Shower head also made by Vida Alegria. Worth the extra bucks.

Had to return because it would not support my shower head.
