Game changer!
These are a definite purchase for sensory seeking kids and chewers. They are durable and hold up to daily chewing, no funny taste. They fit a pencil perfectly on the top and are discrete. They’re functional and hold up to daily chewing and easy to put onto pencil/pens.

Easy to clean
These are easy to place, remove and clean. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone that has a tendency to place items completely into their mouth. For my pen/pencil top chewers, this works great.

Basically cut up milkshake staws.
I am a SPED Para at an elementary school. One of my students is a chewer, and was eating his pencils. I bought these in an effort to give him something safe to chew on. He could have chewed through five of these in one day. I expected a thicker, more silicone type of material. There were about as thick as silicone milkshake straws, but not silicone or rubbery. I put the first one on his pencil, and he accidentally bit through it in 5 minutes. The rest of it was gone before the math hour was through.

Work Great
I bought these as stocking stuffers for a child with ADHD, and shared extras with a coworker who said she likes to chew on thin plastic things like straws and coffee cup stoppers. She absolutely loves them. They're sturdy enough to survive adult stress-chewing, and the hollow core makes a very quiet clicky sound, which provides even more sensory appeal. Highly recommend.

Great for pencil chewers
My Grandson chews off ends of pencils. So I got these to slip on the end of his pencils. They work great. At least I know he's chewing on something that is not harmful

Wanted to love
I have an autistic 9 yr old who wears a chew-y a necklace at home 24-7 but is self conscious to wear it at school, was hoping these would be a solution but he couldn’t stand the smell (after letting them air out for a few days). They were not easy to get on a basic pencil so I returned. W

Not Up to Par
These toppers were not trimmed well, leaving jagged, unsafe edges. The items appeared to be made of thin plastic and not food grade quality. The toppers arrived loosely in a box without any other wrapping to indicate that the toppers were kept sanitary/clean after production.
