I had been researching portable stools for months on end because I can’t stand for long periods of time due to spinal stenosis, sciatica, arthritis, bursitis, and just getting older. I decided that even though I am in pain, I will not be defeated.I am 5’10, 250lb, 60 year old female. I love to shop, hang out with my two year old granddaughter and just participate in the everyday activities of life. I can walk but just need breaks from time to time.I kept researching portable, lightweight stools or seat canes, etc.FINALLY, this product came up in my search.I needed not only something that would actually not collapse due to my weight, needed it to be tall enough and not feel like I’m squatting so I could stand up comfortably, sturdy enough not to tip over when I try to stand up (it has FOUR legs which adds to the stability), as compact as an umbrella (it has a shoulder strap)and lighter than my pocketbook! THIS PRODUCT MEETS/MET EVERYONE OF MY PREREQUISITES.I felt the price was very high but I was at wits end trying to find the perfect portable stool and decided to take a chance. I bought two, one for me and one for my husband (who is too proud to use it, though).We went on an eight day cruise, having the stool was priceless for use during long embarkation and disembarkation lines, browsing for long periods sifting through souvenir merchandise, waiting for elevators on ship that were packed, waiting for family while they shopped, and used it as extra seating in small ship cabin.When folded it takes up very little space, it almost feels hollow and is extremely lightweight. It is wide enough for my plus size 22 derrière. Sits high enough for a 5’10 tall person. Extremely sturdy feeling so you feel secure. It is square but I feel more secure when I sit on it in the diamond like position (just my preference because either way is comfortable and secure).I always wish that I would run across reviews that gave me a realistic detailed description of a product whether good or bad so I could make an informed choice and purchase.No, I don’t work for the company. and haven’t been compensated. Best purchase ever!!! I am a large person who traveled to Ireland, Scotland, England and France last month. This chair saved me! I carried it everywhere. We walked ALOT every day and I was able to keep up because in 5 seconds, I could unfold the chair and rest for a few minutes. It's comfortable, too! I used it in lines going through security, in fields, indoors too. It weighs much less than my purse. I am so impressed!

I'm 6'1" 275...have torn both quadracep tendons in my knees...this bad boy hung on my shoulder during vacation and at anyplace or time I could open it and sit in less than a minute, comfortably....now gravitational pull helps with the sitting...not so much the getting up but this stool is tall enough to allow getting your feet under yourself and then you can push off on the corner positioned between your legs...was not a problem...then the stool easily collapses and has a retaining strap to hold it closed then throw the shoulder strap over your shoulder and you're off...it was quick, easy, comfortable, and it's strong...feels very secure...honestly...I'd hate to calculate the psi I put on this stool...this absolutely works from its height to its construction to its design...well thought out. You don't have to be circus size like me to appreciate this stool...it's just the best.

This stool far exceeded my expectations. It is very durable and well made--both the metal and the fabric. I like that it sits higher than most camp stool. After having had my hip replaced recently this was comfortable for me to get up from. I would definitely buy this again.

Best money I ever spent. I am obese and have COPD. I wanted to walk on the beach but I get winded. This is so light that you almost don't even know you are carrying it. It is extremely easy to open quickly to sit. When I was ready to walk again, I just folded it up. I didn't even bother to put the velcro around it because I knew I would be opening it again very shortly. It stayed in a compact form until I was ready to use it. It's very sturdy too.

Awesome chair! I’m 300lbs, 6’4” and I fit comfortably on it and it doesn’t feel like it will break.I bought it to sit on intermittently at my sons basketball games as I like to photograph them and want to get a lower POV and it doesn’t feel good to kneel constantly. I’m not sure if it would be comfortable to sit on for extended periods of time, but what backless stool would be?It folds up very nicely and isn’t bulky

Amazing! Held my heavy weight. Was super light weight & easy to carry & pop up. The higher height made it easy to sit down get back up. Saved my back from long periods of standing in one spot.

I've looked for a stool that supports a plus-sized person, and there aren't many. I took a chance, and am thrilled with this -- it's sturdy, and fairly comfortable. I like the convenience of a shoulder strap, too. I plan to keep it in my car, for those moments where there's no place to sit and I desperately need a seat.
