Bought these mats for my kids since they are around 1 inch thick, I'm a big guy (6'-3", 200+) and near 40, so i needed something thicker. These came with bags, which i haven't tried to get back into yet, but they also came with bands to hold them into a roll shape, so i don't know how much the bag is needed. I bought 2, and both seem to have no leaks. They also came with a couple patches each in case a hole is created.I knew this going in, but these are not air mattresses. They do hold some air, so you can blow into the nozzle for some extra cushion for a few breathes. They are not meant for a blower of an air mattress.I also liked these since they don't have the awkward pillow.They do folder up in half, which might be useful for packing in a small place.

It sprung a leak the second time I used it next to the nozzle. It's heavy, bulky, and doesn't self inflate after being rolled up tight. Still used it for 600 miles. But hated it the whole trip.
