Probably the BEST cleats I have had excluding Joma Toledo 80.
Ok, the cleats is slightly longer than norm. I have worn Pele Sports cleats in the past so I knew what to expect. If you want a comfortable and reliable cleat that will give you amazing touch. Consider this cleats. For the price you can't go wrong.Material:upper: treated soft calf skin leather (IMO- better than K-leather as it doesn't stretch too much).In-sole: descent paddingSole: raised heel, strong and durable.Upper / Sole:The leather is extremely soft and durable. It does take few games for it to take shape. I personally wore is at home for few days, and manually rubbed the upper to warm the leather, and bent the sole mimicking natural foot movement ( to make it easier for when i do wear them outside). The upper is well padded for protection. I do understand that feather weight cleats are in fashion, but I rather protect my feet than be fashionable. With the padding you still have a good feel and control of the ball. Its a classic cleat feel IMO.I do wear this on Artificial and natural grass and haven't had any issues.Sizing:I ordered US9/Euro 43, normally a US9 = Euro42.5 but for Pele Sports this isn't the case. I already knew this from my previous experience with Pele Sports. So the cleats is slightly longer but does not make fitting or playing uncomfortable. I have very wide feet and this was perfect.Weight:I haven't weighed it as I don't feel the need to. Its designed for comfort and durability so i do expect it to weigh more than today's fashionable cleats.

A really really nice soccer boot!
These are by far the best soccer cleats for the money that I have ever owned. The quality is more like a $100+ boot. I recommend these boots for anyone that likes classic style soccer boots. I do know this brand well so was able to order my size the first time around. I will ad that Pele brand shoes fit me a 1/2 size large so I order 1/2 down. I'm usually a size 9 but fit into Pele 8.5 shoes perfectly. I have also seen others say that these fit 1/2 large. But other than the sizing challenge I have found that this brand delivers quality every time. A+++++!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least half a size too big
i thought the size being too big would be a valid reason to return for free but obviously not. The sizing is inaccurate. You might say, that is what you get for buying shoes on the internet but I have done it many times before and not had a problem. yes The company did say returns would have to be paid for but exchanges for the same model? Un-reasonable and I will not advise anyone to buy them unless they have tried them for size elsewhere. I cannot complain about the quality of the shoe though . it was very good indeed.

Great entry leather cleat
These are solid leather soccer cleats. The leather is sturdy and soft, but not as soft as the Pele 1970s. They have a good touch on the ball with the contoured stitching on the side, and I like the foldover tongue. The sole is very rigid, and can become uncomfortable with extended play--make sure to use well-cushioned socks. Like all Pele cleats I've tried, they run a half-size too large. You want to order about a half-size smaller than your normal soccer cleat, and a full size smaller than a running shoe. Overall, a good sturdy leather football cleat in a very classic style. Consider the Pele 1970s for just a little more money--the leather is softer and more stretchy, with a better touch on the ball.

True, it's bigger than normal size
First of all, no doubt in my mind that this is very nice built/constructed shoe. Excellent material and contour line.In the past Puma King size 9 is too small for me.I then bought Nike 90 in size of 9.5, which I currently ware them on game day.I read the Amazon product review on this Pele 1962 FG MS Soccer shoe and notice 3 review said it's bigger than normal size. 1 review said it perfect fit.So I decide to get 9, however it's still a bit too big. I can fell my feet side back & forth......:-(((((.Since I wore them already for an hour, I can't do an exchange any more. But this is a great shoe for the price, I went on buy another pair and it's 8.5. So my conclusion is "YES", it's bigger than normally size. Also one more important factor here, 1 review said this shoe perfect for wide feet. I also ran by one article on line claim this shoe is perfect for wide feet. Well, NO!!!, it's some what wider than Adidas, but a little narrower than Nike. Hopefully, this will accommodate after the leather stretching out. Hope my comment help new potential buyer, good luck!!!!! :-))))))

Do buy 1/2 size smaller like other reviewers suggested
I bought my son 1/2 size smaller than his current Nike cleats (which are 9 1/2) because other reviewers said they run big. They were right...I bought a 9 in these Pele cleats although my son wears a 9 1/2 and he had a good thumb length space at his toe which was perfect. Great leather shoe that my son says are very comfortable and he has been wearing various cleats for over 10 years. Great price too! After telling a friend about the cleats she also bought for her son and was leary about going 1/2 size smaller so she bought two pairs and ended up keeping the 1/2 size smaller ones.

They're super swell and look nice
Got these as a present for my brother. He loves Pele shoes for Ultimate. They're super swell and look nice.

works for me and kickball too.
I typically buy size 12 in steel toe shoes because I have a wider foot, and steel (obviously) does not give. The other reviews I saw suggested this is great for wider feet (w, but not excessively wide), so I ordered an 11.5. They work fantastically for the kickball league that I am in.
