Long Lasting!
I have a 1-yr old Basset whom loves to chew and swallow everything. Nerf dart plastic tip, wet wipe, tip of pacifier, heart med pill (which costs us $350 at vet ER) and we’re currently waiting for a piece of a leather glove to pass. SMH! If we don’t keep her mouth busy, she’ll find something that will. All the other bones/chews we tried are gone in minutes and we don’t give her rawhide or anything that may cause an obstruction. She does enough of that on her own. Keratin chews are great and very healthy but stink very bad and leave my pup smelling bad too. So after much searching I found these best bully sticks and she absolutely loves them! I buy the 4-pack of large size and each one lasts a week of intermittent chewing everyday. They leave little pieces around here and there but nothing major. They’ve a very slight smoky smell if you put them up to your nose but nothing that lasts or is overwhelming. At first my dog would do nothing but chew them all day for a few days straight until the excitement died down. Now they’re her go to throughout the day when she has the urge to chew which is even better because she won’t go through them as fast. We give her 1 at a time and try to keep an eye on where it is. When it gets small, I take it away so she doesn’t accidentally swallow it and it get stuck in her throat. I put it inside a glass of water for 5-7 min and then throw in the microwave for 45-60 seconds until it becomes a lil puff. (Watch the last 30 seconds so it won’t burn.) It’ll be hot but once it cools, my Tallulah enjoys crunching it in her mouth. (It’s like a pork rind.) No waste either. If you are worried about your dog swallowing it, you can buy a plastic bully stick holder (they’ve diff sizes so be sure to check that detail) that has a screw to keep the bone in place and help your dog hold it instead of them trying to keep upright in their paws themselves…or if you’re like me, having to do it for your dog and constantly get your hand/fingers bitten w their teeth. I’m very impressed w these yak cheese chews and will continue to purchase them. They’re low in fat and don’t seem to cause my dog any digestion issues whatsoever. The only concern I have is that dogs w dental problems may have issues because they are hard and dense. I’d suggest finding softer ones if that’s the case. All in all, I’m thrilled to have found a solution to my dogs expensive chewing habit. Yes, these are a tad expensive too but way worth the $16-20 they cost monthly. Highly recommend!

Great for hard chewers
I am having a very hard time getting my 71 pound heavy chewer toys that he won’t eat. So happy to have found these. He loves them and they last over a week which is quite unusual for him. I highly recommend if you have a large dog who is an aggressive chewer.

Avoid choking hazard!
Love these because unlike bulky sticks you can use the ENTIRE treat… to avoid choking hazard when your dog gets down to the last of it, microwave until it puffs up then they crunch on the rest! A pet store employee told me this and it works well. Smells better than a bulky stick also if you don’t mind a cheesy smell.

These are the only chews that'll last my dog more than a day!
Edit: So the quality has changed. When I received my latest two packages, I noticed they felt a little lighter. I think they’re less dense. And now my pup is going through them twice as fast. I was hoping the first pack like this was a bum package, but the next one was the same way. Skimpflation has struck again! Lowering my rating for this a bit…Original: If you have a power-chewer like I do, these are the yak cheese chews for you! My 11-month old pup is an Australian cattle dog mix who can go through 12 inch braided bully sticks in one or two sittings. She used to chew rawhide retriever rolls, but there's no way that having that much rawhide in her belly at any one time is safe. Luckily I found these, which seem to last longer than other brands of yak sticks. When I received them the first time, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. They're very dense and extremely hard. I was worried at first about her breaking teeth, so now before I give it to her, I soak it in hot water for maybe twenty minutes. This seems to soften it just enough to be safer on her teeth, but not too soft that she gobbles it up. This brand doesn't seem to splinter. My dog likes to chew in the evenings for about an hour or so, and these will last her 4-5 days before I can throw it in the microwave to make a puff. Overall, these were the best quality and price for what I needed, and I'm happy with these (and so is the pup!).

My dog's absolute favorite.
I have a 80 lb. Lab mix and he will fight you for these chews. He loves these more than anything I've ever given him but there remains two reasons why I will not buy these again.(1) Yes.. He's an aggressive chewer. But he can go through one of these in about 3 hours. So, they really don't last that long. (neither does Ice Cream in my house!)(2) This brand is over-priced compared to other brands. As a matter of fact, just about all the brands that supply these chews are actually over-priced.There is something about these chews that my dog really loves and craves. But then again, I really like expensive wine. I just can't afford it.

Do these cause bleeding?
*Update: the seller reached out to offer a full refund. Thank you for the amazing customer service, truly a refreshing to know people care. <3 Will look into other products sold by them now. It is an extra piece of mind.Original review:My dog had this for a lil bit and we went to find it redish. Is this blood (see pics) ? He still wants it ... but I'm worried about giving it back to him ... and we have 3 more 🥲😕... ugh.Got it bc he has a leg injury he is recovering from, so he can't play like he'd like. It did keep him distracted, but it might be too painful for him to keep chewing. 😔My 40 lb is chewing the large one.My 20 lb hasn't been interested, I think too big for his lil chi-weenie teeth/mouth.So far no weird smell. Doggo is doing fine. Packaging and delivery was fine.

Long lasting
A great chew if you'd like something that lasts a bit. My dogs love them. A much healthier alternative than some dog products like rawhide.
