VegTrug Medium Greenhouse Frame & Multi Cover Set, White

These are the best. Trust VegTrug for their quality, simple design and robust materials used. I’ve got two medium size trugs so bought the covers to give plants some protection to start off. Double cover with strong zips inner cover fine netting. Easy to assemble and fit on the trugs. Buy with confidence.

This is the second Trug top of this type I have bought in a few weeks. I bought the first a few weeks ago and built it with my other half without reading the instructions. We had to course correct a little at the end as we shouldn't have built the whole frame first as the bottom of the frame needed to slide into sleeves, but it was a success and is a delight to use. So much better than the old middle zipper Trug tops! I decided to build this second one by myself, and as I don't resemble an octopus, built the spine and sides first, then pulled the cover over it, whilst sat inside. Trying not to get distracted reminiscing about tent and Wendy House building as a child, I went on to fully assemble the cover first time, without any help, clicking the bottom bits of the frame into place, after sliding them through the sleeves and into their plastic fittings from inside the cover. Yep, the dog barked a bit. I think it would have been an interesting watch. It's perfectly possible to build alone and if constructed next to the Trug, attach to the Trug itself without help. If you are building it in a separate location, I would recommend enlisting the help of a partner/friend/child in order not to damage the plastic cover if dragging or by bashing/snagging it en route. Once built, not only will you marvel at how fab it is compared to the old covers due to the netting and access areas, but be super chuffed about actually doing it! This Trug top is quite a bit taller than the old ones, no more stooping, and depending on Trug placement, a little more privacy :)

I brought this thinking it was a container with a plastic frame on the top. When it arrived I was embarrassed as I hadn't read the description correctly. So went ahead and brought the medium veg trug which is very lovely but it is a wall hugger and doesn't fit the frame. So disappointed as it is not clear on the description and is very misleading.

We have now owned three VegTrug’s with the “greenhouse” cover. We’ve looked at other raised bed solutions (corrugated metal, etc.) but we keep coming back to VegTrug. It’s a great product that will last 10 or so years, even if you leave it out year round. I would suggest putting the top cover assembly away during the winter because it can rust but it’s easy to store it. My only complaint is the way that they suggest assembling it in the booklet that comes with it. I suggest that you watch an online video and follow those. There are a couple of really good ones. Buy this. You won’t regret it.

Das Gestell und der Öffnungsmechanismus ist gut durchdacht. Der Aufsatz ist ausreichend hoch auch für größere Pflanzen. Sehr gut hat mir auch gefallen, dass die Abdeckung nicht mit Klettbändchen, sondern durch die Basisstangen befestigt wird.

This greenhouse frame and multi cover set is just what I needed to keep my garden in order. It's easier to water, trim leaves and plant multi rows of lettuce, spinach, celery and green peppers. It has two layers: one of plastic that zips and rolls up on the top and a screen type material to let the air and sun through with no bugs or visitors sampling the produce. A few people complained about wind pushing it around but I open both sides of the plastic sides and it stays put as the wind blows through. A great product. For the folks that complained about the zipper - patience please and proceed evenly and slowly. No problems!

I love my Veg Trug. All is great except the Zippers on the cover. I have to zip it up every night due to deer and every night I struggle to get it closed. The zipper pulls are very flimsy plus the zipper curls. It gets stuck (both sides) in multiple locations. I'm truly afraid it will break like it has been stated in many other reviews. Even though...I still recommend this product. You will ❤️ it.
