Prefer these over Toesox
I do martial arts and grappling, so I need shoes/socks that allow me to twist while not letting me slip and lose my balance. (Bare feet work fine for this too, but tend to pick up all the dirt and who knows what else on the mats.) I bought some Toesox a while back, which were okay except it's annoying to have to shove my toes into individual little pieces and they weren't the most durable. So, I went looking on Amazon for something else and found these Grip Treads.The material is much thicker and more comfortable, the design more practical and less cutesy. My feet feel much more protected and free to move, letting me focus on, you know, fighting, not adjusting my toe thingamabobs constantly. Hopefully the grips on the soles last much longer too.

Well made but a little larger than expected
3 month update: I've worn these around the house fairly consistently for 3 months now. I've upgraded them from 4 stars to 5 stars. After a couple washings they seemed to shrink up a bit and now fit pretty well. They are also showing no sign of wear yet so I think they will last much longer than the other couple of brands I have previously purchased on Amazon. When they do eventually wear out, I will purchase this brand again.Original review: These No-slip socks are well made and I think they will last longer than the other brands I have purchased in the past (I always ended up with a hole in the heel after about 6 months of use). However, my pair definitely is a bit on the large side. I wear a men's size 10 shoe. "Large" size of other brands always fit me quite well. I was thinking the Medium/Large of this brand might be a little small. However, it was just the opposite... they were a little big for me (length and width). They are not so large that I cant wear them. They fit ok, they are just slightly loose on me. I still wear them without any real problem. They are seem a little thicker than other brands which is why I think they might last longer than my previous pairs from other brands.

You won’t slip with these on
These socks were a birthday gift and I didn’t know if I would ever wear them. Not only do I wear them but they are the first thing I put on in the morning. They keep my feet warm but more importantly I don’t have to worry about slipping on my tile floors. The Grip Tread socks are now my top gift for birthdays, etc. They are well made and comfortable. gf42

I think these are for boys, not grown men
They are too tight for my very skinny Dad. Smallish feet for a man. He cant wear them. They are certainly tight enough for pressure stockings, but without enough stretch to get them on his size 8 feet. He lost much weight from his usual 190, down to abut 150. He has a wide foot, needs a wide shoe, but, still... should have fit more than just a super-narrow foot. Very hard to put them on him. We finally gave up for fear of causing bruises. Maybe for a gangly 12 year old...?

Superior to training barefoot or wearing regular bottomed socks
I wear these socks to the gym (no shoes) and Pilates. Superior to training barefoot or wearing regular bottomed socks. Comfortable and effective in avoiding slipping.

These work for big feet moving aggressively.
So far so good. I use these socks for jumping on trampolines. They have a nice tight fit that prevents the sock from shifting around, and the grip is pretty good. I have size 13 feet, so finding socks like these that fit isn't always easy. Now I'll just have to see how they hold up to the abuse.

Comfortable and do their Job
I bought these socks both as a result of having surgery on a broken leg and having mostly hardwood floors.I am using a knee scooter and crutches and this product works really well for letting me feel secure to traverse slick floors with confidence. I've used other socks like this in the past, but they always went up to mid-calf. It's nice to have a pair that only go slightly above the ankle.If you're getting them for their look, I will say that the teal-look on the images do not match the product I received, which is more of a solid blue. I personally like blue better than what's pictured so it worked out for me.

Excellent buy if this is what you are in need of looking for
So much better than those hospital socks when you were having to learn to walk again this is my second time around in the past two years that I have had to learn to walk and this time I found these socks and what a great help they are so if you were looking for something non-skid These are the ones you are looking for.
