What can you say. A simple tool that works as advertised.

Probably not the best quality but i needed this size - not sure this will be my choice if it was for a many uses - but the few times it is going to be used - it is fine.

If you don't know anything about Irwin. I can assure you they are one of the top brands for spade bits.These work great and are fairly easy to sharpen to get a little longer life out of them if it's worth your time.

Like most Harry Homeowners, I got this to do one specific job. I wanted to drill a hole in the door to the under the sink cabinet to install a lock. I am responsible for the guest bathroom. I have accumulated all the cleaning supplies I need, but people keep taking it, and by people I mean Carmen. She keeps taking it, and then she leaves stuff that isn't bathroom related like the bottle of hard wood floor polish. That doesn't belong in the bathroom.So I wanted to put a lock on it. Installing the lock required drilling a hole. This drill bit cut right in there. It only took a few seconds, and the hole was beautiful perfectly round. Good tool.
