The Rosanna Pansino Nerdy Nummies Candy Melting Pot by Wilton is a great little pot to melt chocolate for fondue. This pot is essentially the Candy Melting Pot by Wilton, but in a cute teal and white color. If you’re into Nerdy Nummies, you’ll love the overall design of this pot. The candy melter is perfect for melting chocolate - to melt, simply set the dial to II (high) to melt your chocolate. Once your chocolate is liquid, you can set it to I (warming) to keep the candy liquid. The temperature is about 140-150 on high and 110-115 on warm. If you’re planning on tempering chocolate, you can put the chocolate on the warm setting and it will still melt, albeit a bit slower. If you’re using it just for fondue, you can set it on high to get things moving quicker. The unit heats very consistently and evenly, and because there is no water involved like in a double boiler, you don’t have to worry about messing your chocolate up. Also, unlike microwaves, you also don’t have to keep monitoring the chocolate to make sure you don’t overheat or burn it. The container that holds the chocolate is made of an easy to clean silicone and the rim edge has two pour spouts area to pour your chocolate out. The one thing I would be aware of is that because the pot is made of silicone, I would be very careful if you allow your kids to dip foods in using forks - the pot is sturdy, but I can imagine people accidentally poking holes in the sides and bottom if they’re too enthusiastic. Cleaning the pot is very simple as well - just pop the pot into the fridge, then push the chocolate out. You can put the chocolate in a bag to use again later, of if you have kids like mine, you can break it up and eat it. Overall, this unit was simple and safe for my kids to use on their own and they loved making chocolate dipped treats.

I have been dipping things with my mom since the 90's. We used the microwave method, the double boiler method we almost always burnt a batch or two of chocolate. In the last few years I have used a tinny warming pot with my kids but they are terrible to clean and there is no way other than unplugging the thing to regulate temperature. A few years ago I bought my mom a similar version of this same brand of warming pot. My mom was stuck in her ways so it took her a while before she used it once she did she raved about how easy it was to use. I recenty bought this for myself and I love it!!! It is perfect in my opinion. It melts just right and warms just right. It has an easy poor feature and it cleans up with very little hassle. I only wish it came with more than one melting basket so I could do multiple colors at a time without having to have more than one heating unit; nevertheless, for the price i will probably get another unit. I would highly recommend this product, I hope it lasts over time.

Works perfect for small batches of melt and pour soaps. Would be great if they still offered replacement silicone inserts as the fragrances stay with the silicone. Otherwise, it cleans up well. It's compact and I can easily melt 1/2lb to 1lb of soap to pour in molds. I have two - so that I can easily use two colors in my molds and keep them warm & easy to work with. I turn them on high and check on them every 30 minutes. All my soaps are melted in abt an hour and so far no burning. Sometimes I lightly cover the pot with a silicone lid/cover. Love them!

I love this kitchen gadget! I had always made cake pops with the microwave and thought I’d give this a try and I must say I’m impressed. The two level heats are perfect for melting then keeping it creamy enough when ready to decorate which made it so much easier and fun to bake! It was so easy to clean, literally wipes off and is just the right size to store away neatly. So happy with my purchase and love her ideas!

I’m writing this based on the ease of use. Candy melts can be temperamental, so each time I used this, they didn’t come out perfectly. I may have used too many or too few oil flakes, who knows. However, this pot is very easy to use and clean! It’s durable and I like that the outside of the pot doesn’t get PIPING hot. The spout obviously makes pouring easy. Melting candy melts half a bag at a time was the easiest for me; overloading it caused my melts to burn and get clumpy.

This is an awesome product. Unlike other reviewers who have had difficulty with melting/ burning chocolate - we have had no issues. My kids now (6 and 10) went and used it shortly after getting it for Christmas last year. Now I can have them help me drizzle melted chocolate over cookies & biscotti or make chocolate-covered strawberries & pretzels and not worry about the kids getting burned.The chocolate melts evenly and has never burned. That said, we have only melted chocolate chips (Ghiradelli, Nestle, and Lily's) and Andes candy in the pot. We have not tried any of the candy melts or other things. Have had no issues over the past year - the chocolate melts evenly and stays melted. That said, we have never filled it with more than 12-18 oz of chocolate at a time. We just add more chocolate if we start to get low.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this because I could not find the Wilton Melting pot anywhere. THIS IS PERFECT! So easy to use. Melts chocolate perfectly. Keeps it at a great temperature for dipping. Super easy to clean. Literally just pop the chocolate out once hard and reuse later. So so good.

Buenas tardes, hace algunos meses realicé esta compra desde España pero al llegarme el producto no me fije que el conector no era compatible con los tomas de acá, solo me di cuenta al haber transcurrido mes y medio que la utilice, pero por ende no lo pude utilizar en su debida forma ya que al adicionarle el adaptador del toma no tuvo un buen calentamiento para derretir el chocolate, el vendedor está en la obligación de enviar el aparato con el debido conector, ya que el que envío es para Latinoamerica.

Take toooo long to melt the chocolate and it spoil it once it’s melted, use boiling water or microwave better than thisIf i can give it 0 start I would
