Excellent all-in-one supplement
Nutrition is not an exact science. You can't put exact values on every single ingredient and have it effect every person the same.Having said that.. PhD have come up with a great formula in this product. It is exactly what it says on the tub: a premium all in one solution.I find the best time to use this is post-workout as PhD have put a lot of effort in here in to get a mix of ingredients which promotes protein synthesis and muscle growth. Zinc, Magnesium, BCAAs and Creatine can all been found in this product which are all additional supplements which you would have to pay a lot of money paying for if buying separately. I'm not suggesting this product is everything you need.. I just feel that people complaining about the high price of this product might just be viewing it as a "protein shake" product rather than the all in one supplement it actually is.As for the taste, I cannot fault it there either.. over the years I've tried Double Chocolate, Chocolate Cookie, Peanut Chocolate and Strawberry flavors. For me they all taste great and even when mixed in a basic shaker they mix really well. I think Strawberry is the best flavour I've tried. It is quite sweet and tastes like a Maccy D's milkshake which i love.I really can't fault this product.. I feel better when using it after training than when I go without it and I've seen results from using it. Cannot recommend this product highly enough

Ingredients have changed.
Not so much a synergistic blend anymore, just a protein shake with a little creatine. Creatine amount has change from 5000mg to 3000mg, BCAA's no longer added and protein content down. Price has gone up however(!). The blend of all the above in proper amounts was the selling point for me but that no longer exists. Going forward it will be a pint of skimmed milk and some creatine monohydrate for me before breakfast. Overall, disappointed.

Changed for the worse
I purchased this previously from my local nutrition shop last year, and the container looked different, and mixed so much more better than what I received here from Amazon. The container I received from Amazon had no batch number, whereas the shop bought container did, and the packaging and labelling differed completely. They are both synergy IS0-7 so I couldn't understand this. Also, I'm not sure if it's due to my previous purchase being a different flavour (vanilla - AWFUL taste!), but this new batch from Amazon mixed horrendously. I could mix my previous batch into a fine, smooth paste using only a fork, whereas this one was like trying to mix lumpy, runny plasticine in water! I guess only a blender will help in this regard, but not everyone has a blender so it's always great to be able to quickly mix the powder with a fork, or by shaking vigorously. On the plus side, the taste of the Strawberry Delight flavour is quite nice, and is nowhere near as bad as the artificial, metallic tasting vanilla flavour. It's clear that PHD have made some changes to the ISO-7 formula, which is obvious when comparing my old container with this new one, and is probably why it's harder to mix now. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with this purchase, so I got in contact with Amazon's customer service reps via their brilliant phone back system and was swiftly issued a refund, so 5 stars for Amazon's excellent customer service, but this particular PHD ISO-7 batch...not so much.

Packaging is infuriating! Avoid!
The flavour is fine, no real complaints, but the problem is that you cannot get the effing lid off the tub easily and it’s infuriating!! You have had to force/pop it open with a spoon or knife each time and it’s so annoying. Fine if you transfer contents into another container but if you can’t be bothered to do that then I would say avoid this item, the crap lid will do you head in!
