🍽️ Spread the Love with Every Spoonful!
Frank Cooper's Vintage Coarse Cut Oxford Marmalade is a premium 16 oz. jar made with 45% fruit, imported from England, and has been delighting taste buds since 1874. This artisanal marmalade not only offers a rich, tangy flavor but also makes for an elegant gift choice.

They use corn syrup instead of sugar
This marmalade seems to have declined in quality since the last time I purchased it several years ago. I see they use corn syrup. Maybe that explains it. Still pretty good, but not on a par with Wilkin, etc.

Good value, far from the best
I decided to try this because it's a better value than a lot of the more premium options out there that have higher-quality ingredients. I don't eat marmalade for my health, so I wasn't really concerned with the ingredients list.Unfortunately, however, the flavor and texture definitely suffer. It has a jello-like consistency with very little orange peel, and I end up using a lot more of it to get the same amount of flavor as I would from more expensive options. Nothing wrong with this product but I wouldn't buy it again nor recommend it. It feels like they took a higher quality marmalade and added a bunch of filler to make it seem cheaper.

Really good!
Since I can't seem to find my old stand-by, Dundee Marmalade, I've switched to this (equally good) brand.

Very Disappointing
I first discovered Cooper's marmalade when I visited Oxford, England years ago. I haven't had any for a few years, but this is definitely NOT the same quality as the original that I have had in the past. I've had Cooper's shipped to me from England and ordered it here in the U.S. This recent purchase was awful! What used to be a delicious marmalade full of fruit and cut in large pieces is now a gelatinous goo with virtually no fruit. I have thrown away most of the jar because it wasn't worth eating. I have had all of the varieties at one time or another and enjoyed them very much. This was my first jar of the "Vintage" marmalade. I don't know if all varieties are like this one is now, but I doubt I'll spend the money to find out. This is without a doubt the worst I've ever had from Cooper's and it is enough to make me go elsewhere for marmalade. I highly recommend avoiding this product.
