Conductor Nickel Plated Trumpet - Series II with Deluxe Case and Accessories

I am impressed with the playability and tone, from such a well priced instrument. I played the trumpet in a high school band, but have since gotten rusty. I can't recommend this for upper-level players, but I can't also state, that I play like them, or should expect the same tone.The slides work well, and the weight is nice. The valve buttons have given me some difficulty, but I used oil and some graphite pencil lead to fix this problem.There is an essential need with this trumpet, to clean it after each use. Just like with all trumpets. I feel on cheaper metals, you risk rust damage easier, so keep that in mind.

I purchased this for my daughter for 6th grade band because it was less than renting one (not knowing if she would stick with it). One of the three valves never worked properly from the start. I thought with some time and oil the valve would work better. I was wrong, the valve continued to get worse to the point that it doesn't even work anymore. She now has a loner from school. I wish I could return but think too much time has passed. You get what you pay for! I should know better. Oh!......and the mouthpiece never fit snug like it's supposed to.

Not terrible at all but there's no numbering on the valves which caused some issues at the beginning of this school year! Pretty irritating but for the HUNDREDS savesd, what's another 50 to get the numbers etched in? So this is a warning about that. Plus, my son is the only one with a silver trumpet so he feels fancy lol!

Have had this for just over 2 months and it's already in the shop to have the mouth piece refitted.

Junk!! Got for my 4th graders music class. Took to music store and they could not make the adjustments needed so that it would work.Returned and rented a good unit and saw the difference in quality. Don't waste your time on this
