One of my favorite purchases of all time! Prior to this, I Used a plastic bag and rubber bands (worked perfectly!) but the umbrella really helps in the weather. I shoot in the snow pretty often, I love how this umbrella covers the whole camera plus some! It’s easy to pivot so you can shoot landscape or portrait. It’s super light so it doesn’t add much to the weight of the camera. It’s easy to put up and take down and it’s small that it doesn’t take up too much room in my camera bag! I leant one to a friend and she fell so in love with it I bought another for me!

First time felt comfortable taking shots in rain … wish I as bad her but did job so far

On an important shoot, I will carry something larger. At least this is light enough to hold in one hand by myself. I do not mount to my camera, too cumbersome to adjust on the fly.

Unfortunately it has broken after using it about 6 times. The screw that holds the mini ball head in place no longer tightens enough to actually hold the umbrella at an angle 😞

Those darn Sony cameras just love to over heat when shooting video in direct sunlight. We no longer have over heating issues while recording wedding ceremonies. My only complaint is the wind will catch the umbrella and try to take the whole camera away. A heavier tripod would fix the issue.

Will easily blow with the wind, too small to prevent water.
