Taste
I love this oatmeal it is the best blueberry oats iv had. I actually joined Amazon just to buy it since stores didn't have it locally.I make it with coconut milk and i add handful of KIND blueberry vanilla granola then spoonful of (yes alot going on) quick and long acting plain oats incl steel cut then of course about 1/4 cup blueberries ( frozen or fresh)Just got the Maple Nut , apparently i have to write my review on the same review of Blueberry Cinnamon Flax.About Maple Nut , it's very good. I got gotten bored with the typical maple, brown sugar etc , however this is 1 darn good flavor.Like i alwzz do, i add a tiny 1/8 cup of short/long acting oats regular and steel. Plus a good handful of , like a banana granola YUM!

Delicious And Great Value
This oatmeal is wonderful. It's quick and convenient to prepare. I don't mind that it's not very sweet. I like the addition of the flax seeds. The only downside that I've noticed are the blueberries are tiny. Other than that, you get a lot of healthy oatmeal for the money.

I really like Nature’s Path Products. They are of great quality and the price is great. This oatmeal is so much better than Quaker. Tastes better too.

Not really instant
I ordered these for an extended road trip on which I'll be using a Jet Boil (boiling water) for preparing meals. This oatmeal box says "quick cook steel cut INSTANT oatmeal" and "ready in 5 minutes" so I assumed that they would be like other instant oats that only require boiling water and some soaking time. Alas, the instructions on the box say 4 minutes in the microwave plus 1-2 minutes resting time or 5-7 minutes cooking on the stovetop. Unfortunately, I have learned that grocery items are not returnable to Amazon.Update: I tried these with boiling water in an insulated stainless steel mug. After 10 minutes of soaking (covered with a lid), they were still warm, soft enough to eat, and were as good as I had hoped. Cleanup was easy. 5 stars.
