Great salon blow dryer that’s affordable.
The ConairPRO Silverbird Dryer has been a game-changer in my salon! This dryer is incredibly powerful with great heat adjustments, and with a 2000-watt motor that dries hair quickly and efficiently, which saves both my clients and me a lot of time. It works wonders on all hair types, especially thick and curly textures, which can often take longer to dry. It’s easy to use with it fitting anywhere that’s you bring it. Also, it comes with 2 attachments that work wonders. The multiple heat and speed settings are a huge plus, allowing me to customize the drying experience for each client. The cool shot button is perfect for locking in styles, and the dryer leaves hair smooth, shiny, and frizz-free. It’s lightweight yet feels sturdy and durable, even with frequent use throughout the day.Overall, the ConairPRO Silverbird Dryer is a high-quality tool that delivers professional results. Highly recommended for salon use or for anyone looking for a salon-quality dryer at home!

I love this dryer
I love this dryer. I usually buy cheap blow dryers but got sick of them burning out and taking forever to dry my hair. I am a black female with 3B curly hair (basically curls that would spiral around a sharpie marker). My hair is thick, holds water, and takes forever to air dry. For example if I put my hair loosely on top of my head in a bun to air dry, it literally takes 2 3/4 days and it may still be damp. This dryer is awesome. It has multiple heat settings and drys in no time. Normally it would take me about 45 min to part my hair in 4 sections and blow it dry. But this time I parted it in 2 sections and it only took 5 min 12 sec to dry each section with soaking wet hair with product in it!!! I was able to dry my hair from beginning to end with the comb attachment (going back through to straighten/finish/shine at the end) in 14 min 22 sec AND I took a 1 min break. Now... I use the high heat mode but my hair is super strong and I use a great heat protectant and leave in conditioner. I also only straighten my hair about 1x (2x's at the most) per month. The high heat setting gets super hot so I don't recommend using it for thin, fine, or weak/damaged hair. I did try it on medium heat at first and it works fine. This is the safest mode to use for weaker hair and what I will be using on my daughter whose hair is super fine. The comb attachment is super strong and stayed in place the entire time. Pictured is a separate comb attachment that purchased but it kept falling off. YOU DO NOT NEED AN ADDITIONAL ATTACHMENT. The one that comes with the dryer is great. When the dryer got super hot, the comb felt like it was going to melt, but of course it didn't. My hair is thick and usually dryer combs get tangled or feel like they are pulling my hair out but this was super strong. I was able to curl my hair immediately after and did not have to apply a ton of heat to do it because the dryer straightened it so well. The only thing I DON'T LIKE is that the dryer is a little heavy for me and I have a lot of hair. This was worth the money and didn't cost me an arm and a leg!

Another excellent product by conair
I was looking for a blow dryer that was relatively small, had comb attachment and nozzle, was ionic, had a decent price, and was aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't believe my luck when I found this Silverbird dryer that fit all my wants and needs. This dryer is AMAZING. I am able to blow dry my 4b textured hair from totally wet to dry on medium heat/low speed in less then 25 minutes. And yes yes I know you're not suppose to do that. Maybe blow drying on damp-to-dry hair works for people with looser hair textures but with my thickly coiled hair - it needs to be soaking for me to be able to successfully blow through all the hair and get it straight. And no - my hair is not damaged whatsoever. All my naps and kinks are firmly in place. I must say though, it's nice to know that I can rock a nice afro one week and be back to my soft twa the next. This dryer is so good that I will be purchasing another one in the near future.EDIT 9/22/2015: Just wanted to let you guys know I changed my review. I originally rated this 5 stars but have changed this to 1 star because the damned thing broke down after just several months of use. I bought this in April. Then the company refused to return my item even though it's suppose to have a 1 year warranty. The company and product are full of sh*t. I certainly will never buy another product from Conair ever again. They are a cheap brand made with cheap material. I should have known better than to trust them. You've lost me as a customer.Edit: 6/13/2017: It's been two years and I wanted to clarify what happened back then with this blowdryer because I don't think I was fair or gave the correct information. I ended up buying a second Conair Silverbird because there were no others that were cheaper with the specifications I was looking for. Even though mine did diffuse after a couple of months as in the previous update, I still bought another because I wanted to give it a second chance. I wanted to clarify it was Amazon that didn't refund me that blow dryer. Not Conair the company. Many people have successfully returned their Conair under the 2 year warranty and been given a new one so you probably could as well if you experience any issues. I was too lazy and impatient to wait for that so I bought another. And I have that same blowdryer to this very day and it's holding up. So maybe it was a bad luck of the draw? Not sure but I love my blowdryer. I probably wouldn't purchase it again because I want to give another brand a chance but if you're just starting out, it's a REALLY good one, especially for naturals.
