Cosplay Wand - Hermione Granger’s Wand Replica in a Sturdy&Gift Box

The photo in this ad is not representative of what you get. In the photo, the resin wand appears to resemble natural wood; tan with darker color near the handle. The actual wand DOES NOT. It's been dipped in bright yellow paint and looks like a cheap, poorly-painted piece of plastic. My 8-year-old wants to keep it for her Halloween costume, so maybe I can attempt to re-paint it to make it look better. The wand box is decent, but the wand itself is awful. Definitely not worth the price.

This thing is SOLID. Well built. I bought it for my daughter's Halloween costume because of the terrible reviews the one that went with her costume got. I was afraid that since she'll continue using it well past (and before) Halloween that the one half this price wouldn't last. Glad I got her this one because I doubt even SHE can break this. Love the fact that it has its own little box. This is the exact same size as the movies, the resin makes it just heavy enough to feel substantial. I'm not sure if there's an actual Phoenix feather inside of it or not, but otherwise this looks just like the real thing. Wingardium leviosa!

It's yellow...?! Not quite sure why and A little annoyed that I have to figure out how to get it brown ...
