My furbaby is a Senior of age 17-years & 10 months now. She’s always been a very solid, active, healthy girl; slowing down these days (which is understandable of course), but all of our canines have enjoyed this fud for years & years & their bloodwork-ups/physical exams have always been very good. No problems with digestive issues, weight issues, or coats being dull either.

I like that the size of the kibble is perfect for my 14 lb. dog. She likes it and I think she is getting great nutrition from it.

My 3 Chihuahuas are very picky eaters, and won’t eat any kind of supermarket dog food. BUT…they willingly eat Nutro Senior. All 3 of them. It lasts mine several months cause they don’t eat a lot. I keep a bowl out 1/2 filled with Nutro and it takes them about 3 days to finish it. I like the seal on the bag for freshness.

My 10-year-old Shih tsu has been eating Nutro Ultra small breed adult for most of his life. He ate it ok, and his coat has always been shiny and healthy. However, I did notice lately that he had stopped eating as much, he was also having stomach problems, which I am sure have contributed.I decided it was time to try shifting him to the senior formula, and I am so glad I did! He gobbles up his foot like I have never seen him do before! I think he really likes the small pieces, and they feel better on his aging teeth. He handled the shift fantastically, and so far, I have not seen any digestion problems!

Yes, our terrier loves the stuff, but then he loves everything. I've given "flavor" 5 stars on the basis that the dog has never left over even one single little bit. The recommended portions are unclear or misleading. I think--just my opinion--that the recommended serving is too much. But the product appears to be top notch. My dog gives it two paws up, and his opinion is what counts.
