I purchased four of these to replace the old "b**b" lights in my basement stairway and hallway. Total winner! Very simple to install; I did it myself with only a stepladder, the wrench that came in the box, and a couple of tools I needed to remove the old lights. Such a great upgrade and refresh from the dated lights that were original to the house. I put round 40watt clear glass bulbs (like you would use in a bathroom strip light) in each one and the effect is fabulous. Beautiful bright light, love the seeded glass shades, each sits level and flush with my ceiling...super pretty. Highly recommend and would definitely purchase again.

Exactly what I was looking for. Amazing customer service. 1 glass shade was broken (out of 3 total lights we bought) and they kindly replaced it very quickly.

This is a very nice looking light fixture. Installation consists of screwing on the longest rod (it’s detached so it’ll fit in the box and all it takes is to tighten a nut) and put the glass shades on each socket. That’s it. Easy-Peasy.I’m not a huge fan of seeded glass but these shades are a good solid thick glass, unlike many of the fixtures I review that tend to have thin fragile glass. Each socket is wired separately, but the manufacturer was good enough to join all three together with one trailing wire, so you only have to deal with one black, one white and the ground, instead of having to join four of each together. That makes for a good build and something we electricians appreciate. The one thing as an electrician that I have concerns about is the lack of a UL or ETL safety certification. Just because it doesn’t have the safety certification doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an unsafe fixture, but it raises red flags to me. It has plastic sockets for the bulbs with small electrical contact inserts, instead of full metal threaded sockets. For this reason I highly recommend using only LED bulbs in this fixture so you can get the light output of a 40W or 60W bulb but at a 20W or less for some level of safety. The only other issue I have is the mounting bracket. It’s small. It won’t have an issue with a 3” ceiling electrical box buy may have a hard time attaching to a 4” box. I haven’t tried to install this fixture yet since it’s for a future project and if the bracket is an issue you can always buy a longer one at a hardware store.I like that the sockets attach to the canopy with metal rods and not hang from the power cord – that’s a step up, so the build quality, outside of the plastic sockets, is good. Just use a LED bulb and make sure it’s wired to code when installed and you shouldn’t have any issues, but I will take off 1 star for the lack of the safety certification.Thank you and good luck with your projects.

I purchased this light fixture to replace another light fixture that also had a fan attached to it in my kitchen area. One of the globes did come with a small chip however, my son-in-law arranged it in the center where you didn’t have to or duck can’t notice it it is a perfect light fixture with just the right amount of the light.

We replaced the light in our entry way with this one. It looks great. It’s got style but isn’t over the top right when you walk in. I really love this light a lot.
