PALDO FUN & YUM Volcano Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavored Instant Ramen, 4.93 Ounce (Pack of 4)

As somebody who enjoys the Samyang brands of ramen, I decided to see how this is. Flavorwise, I can certainly know that this is hot but I have noticed a slight curry flavor but it is not overwhelming so it retains the typical spicy chicken flavor. It's something to try if you're curious about other brands of hot ramen out there.

This is not your college dorm ramen noodle. The chicken (or rooster, IDK) on the cover breathing fire should let you know that this is serious stuff. Unfurtunately, I am writing this review days after eating other noodles. But, I believe this is one of the noodles that have you boil for a period of time, remove all but a small (20 mL) of water and then add in the flavor packets to "stir fry."If you like hot foods, definately give this a try. If you steer away from hot foods, do not go anywhere near this.Note: There is a lot of flavor to the sauce to go with the noodles, so this isn't just food to dare a person to eating hot stuff. It does have a legitamate flavor to appreciate.

I love, love, love this flavor! If you grow tired of Samyang Buldak noodles or just want to try different kind of brand and flavor, I recommend these! The flavor is sweet, just DELICIOUS! Also SPICY! The heat level is about the same as Samyang’s original fire noodles, but with this one you feel the heat right away. Let me give some tips: to water down the spice a little bit, use more water when mixing in the sauce, also you can put a little bit of teriyaki glaze in the noodles. AWESOME TASTE!!!

I honestly love this ramen just for their noodles, which are thick and mealy compared to maruchan or top ramen. The flavors are good but the heat is a bit too heat, or rather, the flavor of the heat detracts from the flavors of everything else. I'm buying again but till likely do my own seasoning to the noodles.

Noodles arrived a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The size of the packets are also pretty good too. I wasn't expecting it to be spicy, as I've had the samyang fire noodles before but this is definitely spicy enough, just on a lower level. The taste is pretty good too, I wasn't expecting such a nice flavor. The only thing for me is that it has a fishy smell to it, similar to tteokbokki. I checked the package and it said it contains fish/crustaceans/shellfish, but nowhere in the ingredients was it listed. Not a big problem for me, but others might want to know what it contains. All in all, a pretty good purchase, it is just the smell that I struggle to get past; for that, I give this 3 or 3.5 stars.

YUMMMMMMY!!! These are AMAZING! Yes they are similar to the 2x hot ones HOWEVER the noodles are a lot slimmer and tase better in my opinion. The sauce is hot, but also it’s sweet which adds great heat balance and flavor! I only used a little over half of the sauce packet as I wanted to enjoy it and that with a little bit of cheese along side a pickle, made this an absolute delicious delightful meal!

The exact flavor of spicy noodle you prefer is an intensely personal thing, so I won't talk about the flavor. However, I will say you get all the spice you need, and then some. If you're a weakling like me, use one sauce packet for each two bricks of noodle. The noodles themselves are of comparable quality to the competing Korean noodle brands, so nothing to fear there. If you like spicy noodles, they are definitely worth trying out :)

I had high expectations of this because of all the videos I’ve seen of people trying it. They definitely over exaggerate the heat and spice of the noodles. The noodles were gross and it had a little bit of spice to it. Honestly a regular cup of noodles and tapatio added can probably be spicer than this.
