Fanastic. Great Remote Pan/Tilt Function
I am 4 weeks in to using this baby monitor and so far i am thoroughly pleased. Please note i have used atleast 4-5 varous brands of baby monitors and consider myself an advanced user of these things!First and foremost the best and unique thing about this monitor is that you can pan/rotate it using your parent unit. It is not like the other baby monitors which only zoom in. This physically turns like a moving cctv camera! It picks up all the sounds you would expect and also has a talkback function. There are many lullabies tooThere is a downside. The quality of the picture is not as fantastic as you would expect esp with such a large screen. It is definitely not anywhere near HD. However, we have gotten used to this. The battery lasts a long time too and has a saver mode whereby the screen will switch off after a certain time e.g. 1 minute. Of course, the monitor remains active to pick up any sounds.Overall i would definitely recommend this item. Despite the screen quality not being HD i am still happy with this and it has been the best monitor ive had. I will keep a check on this and review the feedback if need beEdit: 16 months later and this monitor is still going strong. No battery issues, no problems with the screen. I am looking to purchase another one as a gift

Best of a bad bunch?
It’s so hard to review this product because despite its flaws, I feel like it’s probably one of the better monitors on the market.Pros: large, clear screen with good image quality even in the dark (infra red).Battery lasts for quite a long time.Screen only comes in if sound / motion is detected which helps with the battery.Range is quite good, baby can be downstairs and monitor will work upstairs. Two way talk function is useful.Cons: seems to lose signal every now and then.Slight delay in image which isn’t really a huge issue, just annoying.Occasionally image will come on without sound - not great if your back’s turned.Camera cannot be clipped on anywhere so you have to find a flat surface near baby to prop it on.The buttons and icons are not really self explanatory!I did a lot of research before choosing this monitor and like I said, even though it’s not perfect I think it’s a lot better than some of the other ones on the market and it does the job!

Would recommend
Absolutely love this baby monitor. Only reason I've not given 5 stars is because all sounds going through he camera are extremely loud and there is no option to turn it down. (Bearing in mind the camera unit is in the room with the baby). So for example if you press the Talk button on the monitor to speak to your baby it's like you're shouting. And if you play music using the menu on the monitor it is very loud too. Not nice quiet gentle music, very loud music that gave my baby a fright. So I NEVER use talk or play music. If this could be volume controlled it would definitely be getting 5 stars. Everything is fab. Great picture, black & white picture during night vision & coloured picture during the day. Tells you the temperature of the room. I wouldn't be without this monitor, give me peace of mind. I would not leave her in another room without being able to see and hear my baby. Would recommend.Edited - 29th October. The camera has a constant light on whenever it is powered on. If my baby wakes up she is drawn to the light and stairs at the camera, especially during the night. If there was a way this could be turned off would be fantastic. I still think it's worth 4 stars, like I said before, I wouldn't be without this monitor now.

MAJOR FAULT: DO NOT BUY
There is a rare software/firmware bug (which is likely present in all the devices). It has happened around 5 times in about 2 years. It sounds like a small amount but the consequences could be serious. On the rare occurrence of this bug (so you can’t predict it), while the receiver is turned on and the volume is set to anything above mute, no sound comes out. The lights indicating sound work but no sound actually comes out. You have to turn the whole thing off and then back on again. This is a disaster if you are reliant on the sound to wake you up in the night. Have no idea how long our toddler was crying for just now!How did this thing get past the essential QA stage for a critical baby monitoring product?DO NOT BUY.

Poor signal and night vision
I've had a few baby monitors now, but needed a new one as my Samsung one had finally broken too. It's meant to be a fantastic product but it was disappointing. It's easy to use, but the reception was appalling. I live in a old cottage with thick walls. Not a big house, so the coverage should've been ok, but it was very intermittent and the screen kept flashing white and beeping with no signal every few minutes. The parent unit also didn't like being near my other baby monitor (BT 2000). They kept competing for the same signal, which meant I couldn't have both patent units on my bedside table at night! So I had to choose which child I had beside my bed and which was on the other side of the room...not a great night sleep!Final issue was the poor night vision. Daytime image is clear, but night vision was grainy and blurred. I hated that my babies eyes were blurred and he looked ill. Freaky looking! Compared to my previous monitor (Samsung Babyview SEW3043W) the image in the BT 6000 was a poor comparison.

Amazing picture
I spent ages looking at reviews of baby monitors before choosing this one. Was a bit sceptical as some people had said picture quality was bad. Not sure what those people bought because the camera on this is amazing! Can see my daughter perfectly, can see her breathing and everything! The fact that you can talk through it is amazing it really soothes her when shes grumbly!! Would really recommend to first time parents puts my mind at ease when I can physically see her 😊
