5 x Hexagon Car or Bike Dust/ Valve Caps - Red Metal

I wanted a set of valve caps to match my 'Candy Red' Ford Focus and these turned out to be just right.They are made from either aluminium or an alloy derivative which is not made clear in the advertising and it is vital that steps should be taken so as to avoid electrolytic action taking place between the cap and brass (?) valve stem otherwise, as reported elsewhere, the two metals will effectively fuse together leading to expensive work at a later stage.Graphite (bicycle chain) oil or vaseline smeared inside the cap/top of thread will prevent this happening, it's also advisable to give the caps a couple of twists every week, better still, just make a habit of checking tyre pressures at the same time.

Wanted to add a bit of colour to the outside of my car without drawing too much attention. Goes with my black / red colour scheme lovely and is a nice, shiny red.They will fit almost any size tires from what I can tell and look great. They are a lot larger than conventional dust caps mind you.

DO NOT PURCHASE.....two of these corroded on my tyres and resulted in me having to get a new tyre and a new valve. Absolute nightmare!

Great service , item looks good and quality..beware these items seize on the valve if not removed often ...!!!!I have changed back to the original black plastic ones

These have welded themselves to my car tyre valves and cannot be removed, even with pliers and a spanner, without damaging the valve. Not recommended! One star because they look nice!
