I am a qualified Nail Technician and do nails for family, friends and neighbours part time. I have tried various practice hands similar to this, and can honestly say, this hand is excellent value for money.It is sturdy, is made of a hard prastic which has been well put together, and moves quite easily. Rotation is excellent, just like a real customer, when you practice. Unlike the others ive tried, this hand actually holds the nail inserts in place. Many of the others continually pop out and the practice therefore becomes frustrating.I used it for the first and practiced various ombre powders. The inserts never moved out of place once.I should also say the hand tightened firmly to my desk and no issues there either.I cant recommend this practice hand enough. It is a fabulous buy for beginners and part timers like myself. It is a joy to work on, and will give many many hours of pleasurable practice.

Love this product, really good quality. And the education from Kirsty Meakin is invaluable! Shame I nearly had is taken from my doorstep as the delivery driver just left it on my step for me to find when i returned home. Wasn’t happy about that, my neighbour was home & ready & willing to take my parcel in for me.

Writing on behalf of my wife, this handy-hand arrived spookily quickly from Essential Nails. That's what everyone says about this device.. "it looks spooky".OK, flippancy over, this is a really useful bit of kit. It appears well made and, unlike, a human hand, it always keeps still. It also means my learning wife does not hurt anyone's fingers and she can, and does, practice away without the worry.The fingers are very articulate and the soft finger-tips are quite life-like.She can definitely recommend the Nail Trainer. Good piece of kit.

The hand itself is good , easy to use etc. But the finger tips came damaged! Considering the price I would expect that the nails would come in a better condition as it is meant to be fresh out the pack. Really disappointed about that to be honest.

The media could not be loaded. Love! Able to create beautiful practise set all I would say is that parts weren’t screwed on properly and I thought I had broken it at one point but apart from that great! Would love if they gave you more fake refillable tips but definitely worth the buy if you want to get the practise in!

My new best friend. When I applied to do a course they sent me a flimsy hand. I actually broke it in 2 uses. This hand is excellent! It's the best thing my hubby has purchased for me. I am so pleased with it. Not only do you have attachable nail beds. So you will not damage the fingers at all. It's an excellent product. Well recommended for anyone who wants a hand to practice on whenever you want to.

Does the job but not worth £99 I was well robbed ,should give you more for the price I think

Omg! It's a game changer for me. I purchased the expensive silicone life like hands to practice on and I've used it a couple of times but found it awkward and its ended up just sat in its box.With lockdown really wanted to take the oppertunity to practice my techniques and improve skills so invested in the Nail Trainer and so far I love it!!! So easy to use, nails are different sizes an a little imperfect which you can fix etc

I’m a DIY’er and not a professional but I’ve been wanting to practice on other hands then my own. I had my eye on the YN’s hand but did not want to pay the price tag. I’m glad I did my research because this hand is the SAME EXACT hand and tips that YN sells, for half the cost.The hand feels durable and well made. It does not feel like cheap plastic to me. The fingers and joints move around like a real hand would. I’m able to attach the hand to my desk so I have the hand nice and sturdy when I am practicing. I’ve noticed from other reviews that people say the nails pop out, but as long as you CLICK THE NAILS INTO THE FLESHY PART, (2-3 clicks) and make sure to hold the nail like you would on a person when filing, you will not get the tips popping out.The tips it comes with are a variety, and again I’ve seen people complain that they’re broken or have notches in them. That is intentional as all nails are not the same nor are they perfect. They are to simulate different types of nails. I actually appreciate the variety of sizes as well, because not all nails are the same exact size.The online program they give you is totally dated and obviously you do not get all of the nail art products that they use in the video. So I pretty much found that part useless to me personally. I’m subscribed to Kirsty Meakin on YouTube anyway.Overall I think if you are looking for a nail practice hand, this is the one to get.
