Our fave educational activity book!
During lockdown I have purchased about 10 educational activity books for my pre school 4 year old, from the main brands, covering things like early years writing and maths. I bought this one after we watched the Space X rocket launch and it is my favourite out of all of them in that it covers a range of skills (writing and recognising numbers and letters, drawing, simple maths, matching shapes etc) plus fun activities like drawing rockets and stickers and facts. Obviously I have to do it with her as she cannot read yet, but she really enjoys doing all the activities in this book, as do I!

Amazing book
Amazing book for my 5 year old. Worth it’s weight in gold when we were travelling. No too hard but enough to keep him interested. I had to read the instructions though. Bought more like this in the same series of books.

Beautifully illustrated, keeps my active son entertained for hours
Kept my 5 yr old entertained hours on end. He finished this in 3 days so ive had to buy more. Almost got all of the different titles. Beautifully illustrated, interesting activities, not too hard not too easy. Hes able to read all instructions himself, occasionally missed one or two steps. I think its great for him to practise reading and understanding too. I also bought activity books from different publishers, none had the same effect as usborne's unfortunately. Just wish they produce them in thousands of pages 😂

Not really for a 5 year old who isn't a strong reader
Unfortunately this did not grab my space mad son. It is OK but there are lots of pages and not as many activities as I'd expected. It's very parent participation heavy. It's meant to be fun it feels a little like chor. Good if your child is a good reader.

Super activity book
A great activity book for any little ones interested in space. I bought this for my 5 year old and it's perfect for him, although I think it would suit older children too as there are some more challenging pages in there too. It was one of the more expensive activity books that I found on Amazon, but by far the most engaging.

Lot's to do
My 4 year old son enjoys doing this at night! It was our first time introducing the idea of space to him since it's always been about cars but it was a wonderful surprise. He can detect the planets and has learned the names.

Best purchase of the year!
This book is amazing. Son loves it and the range of activities is so varied and all encompassing, with different levels of difficulty and developing different skills, that I would recommend to everyone with kids interested in space!
