Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Single Origin Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans Perfect For Espresso, Cafetiere, Aeropress, Chemex and Hario - 250g Whole Beans

Everything a good Mocha coffee should be. I believe Mocha beans come from Ethiopia and the other source is the Yemen. These are nicely selected and have a fine flavour. They blend perfectly with Costa Rica or Brazil so you do get a good almost chocolatey texture and flavour from these beans. They keep well in or out of the fridge or freezer. Very nice coffee by any method espresso filter mocha-pot just a nice rounded taste.

Really big bag, arrived early, first thing i noticed was the smell, unusual but very pleasant, never tried these beans before, WOW what amazing flavour deep and rich with a nutty taste, wanted these beans for an espresso grind absolutely spot on, just the job, another thing to add, gives you a real kick for an espresso, kept me buzzing till dinner. Will be re-ordering soon. If you're a serious coffee lover you'll enjoy this blend.

This is a well balanced yirgacheffe and produces a good thick crema. For my taste the roast, for a medium roast, is a little too dark and hence strong. For those liking a slightly darker roast this coffee is near perfect.

Bad taste

Its okay but it lacked the deep treacle and chocolaty body and finish.

I came across this brand in an article from New York which looked at which coffee beans would be the best to give a coffee lover as a gift. It has not disappointed and is now our coffee of choice- always. It is better than the coffee you would be served at well known coffee houses.

Lovely coffee beans. Ethopian is my favourite & these do not disappoint, they maintain the perfect balance of richness & fruitiness.The biggest problem I have is stopping myself from snacking on the beans straight from the jar before I get around to grinding them 😁

Wow wow, as a new years to Chemex pour over coffee making this is my first coffee to try and what a stunner. Just could drink cup after cup it's so smooth, rich with just a touch of citrussy acidity and a bit nutty just like me!
