I feel like I live in a futuristic wonderworld.
Seriously, this was so simple to get started. I took it out of the box, popped open the back of each slot and pushed in the drive, and clipped the slot cover back in place. It took 5 seconds for each drive. Once I did that, I plugged it into the PC, plugged the cord into the surge protector, and it was ready to go.Data transfers via the USB 3.0 connection are solid, and even when multiple drives are active (this is now serving as an access point for my streaming media), there are no performance issues, and during heavy load the unit still stays cool and quiet. You can even adjust the fan for higher intake/outake if you think your drives are warmer than you like, but I haven't needed to switch it from the default setting. It's very quiet, and the drives run nice and cool. Speaking of cool, it looks nice and futuristic, while not being too flashy. There are status lights on the front which let you know which drive is active. I currently have 3 out of 4 of them filled up for a grand total of about 17 TB of data. It's so nice to have everything all together and easy to access. What's more is that it doesn't take up much room at all. I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but the actual component has a small footprint, and you'll be able to put it pretty much anywhere. All in all, completely satisfied.Five stars.UPDATE:As of Jan 11th 2022, this drive is loud, the connection cuts out frequently and I have to reboot it, and sometimes the fan will just randomly stop and then start up fast and whine for an hour before calming down. It sounds like I have a diesel engine sitting next to my computer most of the time, and I cannot really recommend it. I have adjusted the rating to 3 stars, because for the first few months it ran well, and then it just started failing on me.

Works great
Worked fine without any trouble, 4 drives ranging from 6T to 10T. Used on Windows Server 2016. Similar to the Vantec unit which was discontinued. Fans aren't the best on these units, but can be replaced when necessary.

Excellent drive bay for the money
Easy to set up and configure. Had 4 drives installed and running in 15 minutes. Windows Server 2019 recognized them and allowed me to set them up in no time. Have 2 right now and am looking to add a 3rd here in the near future.

It Works
It Does A Great Job With The Drives, Time Will Tell The Hardness Of The Product.

Noisy
Product does what is designed to do so happy in that regard. But it has a really noisy fan that I am not pleased with at all.

Not good
A few features that make this useless:1. This does not have "- Smart Auto Power Control, auto power on/off when the PC is on/off." It stays on all the time and must be manually shut off for sleep or shutdown.2. "- Build in 80mm Cooling fan with Fan Speed Control, reducing HDD heat by 33% max." seems like it's an automatic feature when in reality its a manual knob. The fan speed ranges from very noisy to unbearably loud and stays wherever you set it....all the time.

Fans on these are a known issue
I've bought two of these, both lasted about a year each.Problem is the main cooling fan on the top of the unit just stops working at right about the year mark. I didn't notice my first one died in time and lost a hard drive due to overheating because of it, I only noticed because I couldn't access the data one day and tracked it down and found the non-functioning fan and immediately turned off the unit to save the other drives. My second one died today (bought a year ago) I have been checking it daily and using canned air on the fan every day to try and see if that extended the life. I woke up today and found it dead as well... Just cheap fans they put in these things.Beware when purchasing this unit, if you are good at fan replacements then you could replace the fans as they go out, otherwise spend a little extra cash and buy a better quality enclosure for your drives.
