It tastes good and does the job.
It's a great product, if you are looking for meal replacement. Shipping it without a scoop, then charging $9.00 for the odd sized scoop, seems like a scam. The ziplock-like closure is ridiculous. Ziplock has been doing these things for years, maybe get some tips from them. It shouldn't be that hard to close the bag.

Tasted Good!
I like the banana shake but it is kinda annoying not having any clue what size measurement to use for the powder. I get the Amazon listing says there’s no scoop but I thought the packaging would include similar instructions. I checked Huel’s website and I guess new orders usually include the scoop just not on Amazon. So then Amazon has to list instructions separately. Weird situation.

Add a bag of Instant Breakfast to the mix ...
I bought this stuff for its nutritional value ... and accepted that it might not taste so good. Turns out ... it is true it does not taste so good. My solution is to add a bag of the old Carnation Instant Breakfast (now called Breakfast Essentials) to the recommended mix of this stuff ... and shake it up till my arms wear out. The taste with the Carnation product added...is now pretty good. And ... this silliness about not adding a plastic scoop to such an expensive product ... COME ON Huel folks ... toss in a frigging scoop !

Chocolate Huel Meal Replacement
This was our second time ordering the black edition chocolate Huel. My husband really enjoys it. He’s using it as meal replacements at the moment and it makes meal prep super easy as well as making him feel full until the next meal.

The Perfect On-The-Go Meal
I absolutely LOVE this stuff after I learned how to properly make it, especially the chocolate, vanilla, and banana flavors. Given the focus on actual science not trendy marketing, it’s the perfect on-the-go meal ONCE you learn how to make it bc it does like to clump and stick to things. The keys are (1) Get a WIDE-mouth blender cup with a removable lid bc you’ll want a large opening to pour the scoop into the cup (getting it into a small opening is a nightmare), (2) pour the water in FIRST and THEN pour the scoop (prevents it sticking to the cup sides), and (3) shake softly at first (otherwise will stick to top) but then HARD and learn to live with inevitable clumps. With two scoops I get at least 2 hours of feeling full plus the satisfaction of knowing I got a nutritionally complete meal.I always take a quart bag of huel (with a scooper and bottle) in my backpack with me when I travel bc it’s the perfect way to have a quick quality meal for cheap on-the-go (especially when good food isn’t immediately available), rather than scrambling for 30min and paying $20 to find and wolf down a meh sandwich. Also great for camping.

I got some Huel tips for you
I almost never mix up a Huel and drink it immediately. I mix it up right after I drink the last one, which has been sitting mixed in the fridge for hours already, up to a day or more sometimes. This ENORMOUSLY helps with the texture. I do this with all my shakes. They are all better after soaking longer. If it soaks too long it starts to ferment and opening the shaker bottle will come with an obvious pressure pop and it tastes sparkly kind of like kombucha. The website says don't let it sit too long pre-mixed but so far I've never noticed any dire effects. Could be I'm gambling with my life?It doesnt come with a scoop. This is to save money and the earth. Your first order of Huel from their website includes one, but I just use a stainless steel measuring cup I have set aside in a dish on the counter for this one purpose.Add the powder to the liquid, not the liquid to the powder, unless you like bricks at the bottom of your bottle. You can't put dry powder in a bottle for transport and add water later wherever you are. Learned this the hard way.Swirl the bottle before shaking it, so you don't just slam pack the top of the bottle full of sludge that never mixes in. Learned this the hard way too. When I first open a new bag, I will take a toothbrush I have for cleaning shaker bottles, and dry scrub out the zipper of the huel bag. Wherever they pack this stuff and seal the bag, there is often powder in the zipper. I do this until I'm able to get the zip to close. You can also just fold and use a clip, or dump it all in a repurposed protein powder jug or a big plastic tupperware.I like to mix my chocolate huel with chocolate vega sport protein. ~ 60g Huel, ~30g Vega. It's like drinking chocolate pudding. The coffee flavor has caffeine. May seem obvious but I learned the hard way after a sleepless night.Huel contains MCT oil from coconut. This has me searching for alternatives because I am mildly allergic. I used to use straight MCT oil and could immediately tell that the area around my nose would get itchy after taking it. The effect of the Huel is milder to the point that I've ignored it for years, but I figure it's time to quit giving myself mild allergic reactions constantly. This info is for anyone who might notice anything similar.Any new product may come with a gastrointestinal adjustment period. Oats are commonly associated with gas. You might want to get a digestive enzyme supplement along with your first order. I have never noticed a particular reaction with Huel myself, but it's pretty common that new proteins and fibers introduced into your diet will have an adjustment period and you may eventually decide you're not compatible if it never goes away.

Good meal replacement, but does not mix well and too thick
This powder overall is a good meal replacement, keeping me full and providing good supplements. However, it takes quite a bit of water to avoid your shake turning into cement. Definitely hard to use this powder to make smoothies, so just plan to use it on its own. The taste is decent and mixes best in blender.
