Saved a lot of time
I wish it was made with more durable material, but it still worked without a hitch and sped up the job with added ease. It's worth the cost.

Handy tool while working alone!
I just did a 100sqft deck and was going to be working mostly alone. This tool helped get things aligned but it did break just before the last board was installed. A couple of things to note before getting started...1) this tool takes two hands to load. This can be tricky the first couple of times especially when you need a drill, the tool, and a mallet.2) even though there's a drill bit guide, the bottom of the funnel sits above the fastener and wobbles around when it gets warm. I installed around 80F and it got flexible enough for the funnel to completely miss the fastener head.The piece that broke is one side of the fastener clamp which helps the tool to hang onto the fastener. The break was on my final board so it wasn't too big of a deal. Even with the break I was able to use it but had to be careful or the fastener would fall out.

Tabs WILL break off, Not universal, but works with Trex hidden connectors. Overall, a timesaver
This does save time, and even with the tabs broken off, it still works ok. If you read the reviews on the Trex ONESTEPTL tool, the tabs break off on that one too. Anyway, it was handy to have. I ordered two and at the end of a deck and a porch (approx 400 sq ft of composite), only one tab remains. Some people say just to cut a piece of piece of scrap and use that, or just hold them by hand, but I would say it did help speed up the time once you get the hang of it.

expensive
I thought it was a little expensive for being made out of plastic..It does a good job of keeping the screws straight while installing hidden fasteners on composite flooring...You have to be more than careful while using it or it will break.....

Doesn't work with Trex screws
The bit it comes with doesn't fit the trex screw and a normal bit doesn't fit in the hole.
