I like to research products for quality, with a lower price tag. This awning has withstood sub zero winters and many storms. If you’re looking for a quality overlanding product without the crazy price tag of other awnings, this is the one.

This 270 degree awning is awesome and so easy to use.As I purchased it I thought my build would require me to make my own mounting brackets. Nope, the ones that came with it fit my Yakima system perfectly as I needed. I wondered if it required the fold down legs for bracing and stability. Nope, not unless you add the side walls which I heartily recommend, or it gets pretty darned windy. I wondered if it would be tricky to repack. Again nope, it swings back and rolls up so easily. This thing is awesome.I got this specific model to fit my F150 with the 5.5 bed thinking I wanted my roof top tent mounted at mid height intending to keep the RTT and this canopy below the existing roof line. It's perfect for that, swinging around the side and back of the RTT.In the end I mounted my tent a little higher, and that would have allowed me to purchase a longer canopy. I kept this one anyway as I like it that much. I am confident that OVS awnings in any length are as awesome as this one is. I also heartily recommend getting the complete set of matching sidewalls. They take the solution from awesome to extraordinary and a real 4 season or foul weather enclosure.

This thing is awesome. I even use it for shade when I'm not camping. I love that it will support itself without putting the legs down as long as its not really windy. Sets up quick and packs up just as quickly. Well worth the price.

Works great. Used it every day on our 2 week honeymoon bumming around the rockies.

NOT ALL HARDWARE INCLUDED! i ordered this for a weekend trip and i can't even mount it! there's no hardware to mount it to your vehicle! no where does it say you need an extra kit for mounting it to your roof rack!

The product arrived on time as promised. Packaging in heavy duty cardboard with straps on the outside and addition padding inside.Installation was self explanatory but did have to run to Home Depot for four slightly smaller bolts to fit my particular rack. Subtracting time for rearranging gear on my rack this was a 30 minute install.Deploying and storing is very easy and takes a couple minutes.Construction and quality seems very good though I would not leave this upon gusty winds and will definitely tie it down on breezy days.The built in leg supports are a nice feature.I did not get the extra long one as I wanted it to match the length of my truck bed and topper. The shade value is good but the overall shade area is not that big. Not a ding on the canopy or OVS just something to keep in mind as you are shopping.Be interesting to see how much I use it and how well it holds up. But overall I'm very satisfied

Set up and store time is less than a minute. Very easy. Great build quality and with the additional walls it’s perfect for cold, rainy, windy weather.

The awning works as it should. It's easy to deploy and put away (tip: keep the zipper waxed to keep it smooth) The included hardware made it super easy to install 👌 but I eventually fabricated my own bracket system for a better look on my rack. The 270 lite is a bit small but it's perfect for my small 1st gen Honda CR-V, the fabric works well to stop the desert heat from coming through. I had this for almost 2yrs now and so far it's all good. I will come back to update and load a few pics.
