All about Coffee: A History of Coffee from the Classic Tribute to the World's Most Beloved Beverage Hardcover – Abridged, November 18, 2012

I didn't find what I was looking for in this book. Granted I gleaned some information that I didn't know prior to reading.

Hardly believes it was written by the same author of "Book of Tea". Is most of the contents truncated by publisher?

All about coffee re-defines the word ALL. The word abridged is more accurate. I have been doing extensive work on coffee for months in preparation for a patent application. I have downloaded 100's of times more information than that book contained. UKER'S original text (the unabridged version) is available on Google at no cost. This book was a waste of my time and money. If I could get my money back I would take it in second.Ken Buschmann

The book has no flow and from the early pages feels like a badly assembled essay: a bit of this and a bit of that... the research is poor and US-centric: 10 lines devoted to history and habits of coffee drinking in Italy? really?The reason Igot it was it was available on Kindle. But seriously - save the money and get the much better written and research Uncommon Grounds.

Before reading this my son thougt coffe was somthing blac comming out of a mashine.

Love this book. As I am a barista, its really good to know the history of coffee. So many interesting facts that are not easily found on internet.
