Works get for chicken coops
I usually buy Force, but they ran out so I tried this. It works great for around my chicken coop to keep the flies under control, especially after the rains.

Absorbs well
This product is easy to use and absorbs very well. It makes liquid pick up so much neater and easier than wiping.

Absorbs liquids, expands to hold them, and dries back out over time
I have only tested the powder with water so far. It does well at sponging up the spill, as it draws in water from nearby into itself. It is still clumpy/sticky when damp like cat-litter-type products are, so it will not sweep up perfectly clean. Ad started though, there won't be dust flying when trying to pour it down or sweep it back up. Because this product is fluffy and airy, you don't get a ton of product for the size of jug it comes in.I did also test this in a couple plant containers, as I use an aggregate-type absorbent material with my plants. Placing a layer on top seems to keep them moist longer, and it hasn't killed either one after a few weeks, so I will probably try it out with additional plants later.

Not what I expected
I initially thought this product was a solidifier, but it is actually an absorbent powder. You need to use a significant amount to achieve the desired results, which can be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, I highly recommend wearing a mask when using this product, as the fine powder particles can become airborne and are not safe to inhale.

Do NOT use on carpet
It shows it being used on carpet. DO NOT DO THIS!!! You will have a heck of a horrible wet slushy pulpy mess to try to tease out of your carpet fibers and it doesn't even come up well with a shop vac. This made me have like 4x the mess to clean in a bedroom where the window leaked rain into the carpet.

It's take a while to solidify
It takes ALOT to absorb oils, which is what I bought it for. And it solidifies over night, not right away.

Not worth trying for trapping liquids
Poor absorbent. You need more of it then the liquid for it to actually do anything.
