great product better price
Don't buy the plastic ones that last 6 months and break again. this one will hold up for years, if the o ring eventually fails just replace it with one from a local parts store

Metal over plastic!!!!
I replaced the garbage plastic housing three times to date!! Located this aluminum version and didn’t hesitate! Installed about an hour ago and so far, no leaks!!!! Easy to install and nice not to have to worry about tightening bolts too tight to prevent cracking the plastic!! Buy it fellas and gals!!!!

right motor
it's a great idea but did not work for my ford explorer sport xls with a 4.0 the radiator hose faces the wrong direction.

upper radiator hose thermostat housing connection bad angle.
The upper piece that hooks to the upper radiator hose was molded at an improper angle.(see picture) The hose did not fit properly. I exchanged that piece for the plastic piece that came with the vehicle and everything worked fine. I recommended the company, adjust their mold angle to fit the original specs.

It might leak around the bolts.
The unit is overall machines pretty well, esp. for the price. Unfortunately, it seems like the gasket seal or thread lock is not applied properly to the bolts as there is some leaking around the bolt heads. I can't tell if it's one bolt, or two, that are leaking.
